Everton 1 West Ham Utd 2 (14/12/05)

Post by Larry »

certainly not looking forward to this one we have an awful record at Goodison Park and all ways lose there no matter how well we are playing so I think it could end up being
2-1 to Everton though i fancy we could nick a point..

two good times at everton, the first being when timmy breacker scored the one and only goal of the game back in the 93-94 season and then the seaon when ludo got sent off and dicksy went in goal, we ended up losing 3-0 but it was a monday night game with a quality atmosphere, duncan fergusons first game back afer getting released from prison for headbutting another player, cue countless chants about whether or not he enjoyed his ringpiece entered on a daily basis and what is wife was up to while he was away, and julian made a fine stop from one of his headers...

i'm going for a win to west ham, 1-0

our last win up there was in 93/94 season winning 1-0 on News Years Day and i'm pretty sure it was Timmy Breaker who scored since then we've lost 7 of the last 9 with a 5-0 & 6-0 amongst them..

We are going to have to be very strong. I think that other teams are starting to fancy playing us away from Upton Park. There is a sense that we aren't tough enough physically and perhaps even mentally to battle it out when it's cold and wet and up north. I'd like to see Collins in at the back and Dailly in the midfield. Possibly with Noble, Yossi or Ethers starting on the bench.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Hopefully Man United will knock the confidence outta the scousers today. A midweek game at Goodison doesn't sound to apppealing. But since Pardew has been here (in the Premiership) It seems that the old 'We will definitely lose 10-0 at Everton/Blackburn/Newcastle' has gone out the window.

Oh f*** it lets have a bit of optimism.

er 1-1 Benayoun for us

Everton's last seven prem games ...

Man Utd 1 - 1
Blackburn 2 - 0
Newcastle 1 - 0
West Brom 0 - 4
Middlesbrough 1 - 0
Birmingham 1 - 0
Chelsea 1 - 1

They're brimming with confidence. Def got our hands full. I think a point would be great ... but we'd better play like we want all three or we could get clobbered.

That looks decent. Cept Yossi on the right, 18 year old in the middle.

As little change as possible is the key.

Three away games on the trot.

One win.
One lose.

One draw????

I'll settle for a point.
