Unlucky at the end imo. After a shocking start in more ways than one, the steel behind Pards' side shows itself again and we fight back into the game and could easily have won it.

Great comeback. This team has real fight. Most West Ham teams of old would have caved in.

A good point IMHO we could have been turned over by a few goals today but fought back to get a very creditable 1-1, Pompy will not lose many at home now 'Arry is back, looking back at the season this should be seen as a point gained.

Can't believe, after the first half, that we got ourselves into a position where we could easily have nicked all 3 points.

Good work Pards - not sure what you said to them at half time, but it did the job.

Well done lads. Excellent turnaround in the second half but I thnk the dangers of having a small squad are beginning to show. Pards has to do somehting in the transfer window to back up this young team.

Three things.

1. To those getting depressed at half time - remember that this is the new West Ham. The shiteness of the Roeder era is now over, and we do not lie down and die but keep going to the end. A great draw that we were unlucky not to pinch at the end.

2. In context, a Harry run Pompy are a decent side that will finish about 15th. This is a great away point.

3. A few injuries - let's not criticise Pards for rushing Gabbers back (as some have done) as he is better placed to judge. But, particularly after the next three games, a few fresh faces could be a necessity.

Lets remember that Gabbidon only suffered a bad gash in the knee just needed time for basically the stitches to come out getting injured today and coming off could have been just a case of being cold and coming off as a precaution due to the games coming up

Great result & yet again we have shown this side has a steel to it where before we would have crumbled & not come away with anything.
Pardew & the players should really feel proud again, long may it continue. :doff:

A good point given the circumstances (injuries). I'm quite optimistic about the next games. Hopefully the injuries are not too serious. Very happy for Collins to score. The second half was top stuff !!! Well done Fletch, Newton, Dailly ! :doff:

3 injured(and Ethers sounding half injured), playing crap and 1-0 down away from home at half time.

Yet we still come out and turn it around. And probably should have won it.

You have to say that Pardew has instilled a team spirit second to none.
