I'll just add my voice on the Dailly thing. A decent bloke, a ridiculous and embarrassing way to undermine a player as he's about to come on and represent West Ham. Thank God it didn't come over too loud on Sky. Major et al, I stand right next to you on this one - though I still think a lot of the booing at the Wigan game was not about players but about performances.

Whoever is booing Dailly - you are debilitating the team and probably contributing to us getting one or two hundred grand less when Pardew accepts the inevitable and shifts him on. The tragedy is that he is a confidence player, and on his day with backing he can do a job and be useful in the air if played in the right position.

Football Genius - you are not unsupported!!

Tonight I officially for the first time voiced my very own Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv, Yaniv Katan song...it went down well, it was only slightly better received than my pretending Dailly had scored exploits mind....which went down very, very well.

Id give mullins a 7/8, did you see him put a foot wrong today? I cant remember him giving the ball away once, and he showed great determination, especially with that double tackle.

I also don't know how you gave Konch a higher rating than NRC, Konch had a nightmare, he hasn't looked the same since his England cap. NRC was just quiet, no big mistakes. Konch was worse than Gabbidon in my opinion.

Gabbs 0/10 is a tad harsh

Other than that I agree with your ratings.

I was gonna give Mullins a 6 but I dont think he done anything to warrant anything more then a average performance. Gabbs deserved every bit of that 0/10 it was his worst performance of the year, lazy IMO, kicked the ball into Konch, kick the ball dont love tap it with ur head boy. He didnt do anything right today. Konch made mistakes none of them costly though, and he did do a few creative things I thought.

I personally didn't think Ethers had a bad game to be honest. He created a couple of decent chances with some nice crosses.

Anton was top notch and deserves MoM IMO, but I thought Yossi and marlon ran him awful close. Marlon didn't stop running tonight, and held the ball up superbly.

A few mistakes, but sod it, I'll take the 3 points and our second double in a week!!

New 7million striker, 9th in the table with 32pts, Pardew getting the praise he deserves.

What difference a year makes!!

it's a shame about Antons foul mouth in front of the cameras, this is about the third time he has blurted out the 'f' word during or after the game, dont go down to well as an example for the young'uns, cant ever remember bob or trev doing the same. :?

A game where you don't really see Mullins is a good game for him as he does many things good that you wouldn't really see..

When Mullins has a bad game it's highlighted cos of the mistakes he makes..

7 for me for Mullins..

Gabbidon & Konchesky both had their worst game in Claret and Blue shirts but have been superb all season so we won't worry too much..

Etherington ????? Frustrates me something cronic.

Repka had one of his best games ever in Claret & Blue...

NRC was alright, Benayoun quality, Marlene & Zamora worked very very hard & both had good games..

Keeper was good too..

3 points is 3 points is 3 points....

Horrific away support....

3 points, 2 magic goals, at times comical defending giving me heart attacks, but all in all a decent result, that really should never have been in doubt, but that is the west ham we love.

Oh and a quick note on roy carroll, great shot stopper, he made a couple of blinders, but he really struggles with crosses, we have been saying it all season. He made a gem of a save tonight but nearly threw it away but dropping the resulting corner. No doubt i'll be slagged off for being to picky.

Great result but a lucky win.

Two wonder goals, both contenders to Hammers goal of the season. It's not often we get to see two goals like that in the same match.

4 MAJOR mistakes at back signed by Gabbidon and Konchesky.
1-2 smaller mistakes by Carroll.
I was not at all confident with our defense at all, in fact it reminded me of the relegation season with Breen, James and Dailly doing their best to give us a heartattack.

I'd like to see Clarke on the left back v. Blackburn. I am a very big fan of Konchesky, but his form has slipped and he needs a kick in the arse to get him back to the the same level he started the season. Gabbidon? Well, he's been solid up 'till yesterday and I think he just needs to gain a bit more confidence really. We need a clean sheet now!

Well done Tommy Repka, you will be missed by this hammer.

I think yesterday goes down as one of the definate "up" days for West Ham in recent years. Not only have we just signed all of our yound players on long term contracts but we then smash our transfer record to sign a young attaker who has scored everywhere he has gone.

Add that to Anton's goal - he'll never score a better one - nor will Rio! - Looks better every game he plays.

Add that to Yossi's goal - We all knew he could do it - will never tire of seeing goals like that fly in for us.

Add that to the performance of Harewood and more to the point Bobby. Although they didn't score I thought they were superb last night. Bobby is improving massively with every game he plays. He looked more like scoring than Marlon last night which is great to see - Keep it up Bobby.

Add that to the team spirit around the team at the moment. I honestly can't remember a West Ham team with better spirit than this one. The way they ran to him at the final whistle and the apparent songs of one Tomas Repka from the dressing room is truly impressive. Whatever you may think of him (personally I'll miss him) that kind of team spirit is worth 8-10 points a season. Well done Pards.

Add that to the fact that we actually look like a team heading in the right direction. Last night was a big 3 points for us. Had we lost we'd have been on 29 points with 3 other clubs. Now we're on 32 we can really consolidate this position going into the end of the season.

There were a couple of weird points - Konch and Gabbs - I'm sure it's just a one off. The booing of Dailly - thought it was very unjust - the less said about that the better.

So long Tom, we'll miss you - well, most of us!!

Sorry for going on!!

Come on you Irons!!

did you actually watch the game? I know everyone is entitled to their opinions on here but you have but be either on drugs or a total knobhead! How do you justify 0/10 for Gabbidon and say that Mullins average????

A game of two halves for me, The first half we controlled most of the game bar the first 10 minutes players were playing crisp passing on the floor and the two wonder goals were richly deserved.

The second half we looked nervous and shaky, IMHO we were reverted to a 451 and were trying to counter attack whilst 2 nil up at home, this lead to us for the most part hoofing the ball up and it coming straight back, usually by passing Reo Coker and the Fulham midfield completely. It also had the effect of pulling Konchesky out of position all the time, putting Gabbidon out of position.

Still a long awaited Boleyn victory can’t be all bad and if it’s a couple of degrees warmer for Blackburn, it’ll do for me.

This was a very strange game imo.

A great result, 2 great goals and some great saves from Caroll. I thought Marlon was fantatsic, he seems to get better and better.

On the other hand, the game never really got going and we had some individual nightmare performances. Reo-Coker, Gabbidon and Konchesky were awful imo (and these are 3 of my favourite players).

A great result.

My ratings:

Carroll - 8 - Pulled off some fantastic saves to keep us ahead, might have been a 9 but for the horror goal kick

Repka - 8 - couldn't fault him, kept boa morte in his pocket and didnt make a single mistake

Ferdinand - 9 - another confident performance at the back that we've come to expect from him, plus a wonder goal to boot.

Gabbidon - 7 - pulled a stinker for their goal but was otherwise his usual composed self

Konchesky - 6 - was poor tonight. Several mistakes, seemed incapable of pulling a decent pass in the first half, and lucky not to give away a penalty.

Etherington - 7 - kept harrowing his way down the wing and caused fulham problems with his pace, crossing not quite at usual high standard though.

Reo-coker - 7 - felt he was quiet tonight, although he did make some good forward runs.

Mullins - 7 - Usual self, some good solid tackling.

Benayoun - 8 - Caused problems and opened up space with his movement, battled well and was rewarded with a sublime goal.

Zamora - 7 - good movement and positioning, was unlucky not to score after hitting the post.

Harewood - 7 - put himself about and caused problems for the fulham defence, drawing several fouls.

Gabbidon made more than one howler.......booting the ball against Konch, another one when he ran one way and the ball went the other

he had a 15 minute spell when didn't look composed at all.......second half was a shocker by his standards

he was good in the first half though.....am I bothered ? no

he has made a few gaffs here and there before, but overall, well pleased with him....I like the way he nips out of position to kill a move and then nips back again.......like he's in stealth mode

hope he's not injured though because he was limping after that challenge
