I've just tweeted David Gold but I can't see how or why Reading is a Cat A fixture...

It's because it's the last game of the season and so more likely to sell out. Nothing at all to do with the opposition.

Prices Here

Reading is last game of the season.

£64 to watch them. Insane unless relegation etc is riding on it.

There will be wave after wave of discounts/deals again.

Looks like the same prices as last PL season

Strange how a the prices go up about by a different amount for each Band, when changing from Cat B to Cat A :?

Band 1 Cat B to Cat A. Up £12

Band 2 Cat B to Cat A. Up £10

Band 3 Cat B to Cat A. Up £6

Band 4 Cat B to Cat A. Up £10

Season ticket is c.25% cheaper than paying full price for 19 games without a membership.

This assumes - no deals at all in season (i.e full price for Stoke on a Monday night in November when Sky show the game)

It's £67 for the most expensive seats for the category A games if you're not a member.

But not to worry, I'm sure we''ll be signing some top top players to justify those sort of prices!!!!

Band 4 for Cat B games £39 for non-members, looks the away fans won't be too happy either.

The inference is that members will get into some Cat A games at Cat B prices if they're announced as discounted games.

So, for example, Arsenal is on TV - 3,000 empties last time around - so members discount gets offered.

Does that factor in the booking charges?
The cost of phoning to book - as you get bette seats that way than internetting from my experience?
The hassle of having to get all those tickets match by match? Life is too short for me to go down the match by match route.
