Surely Moose would've made a bigger deal out of that moment if it was West Ham's new £40m player? In the video, they shake hands as he walks past as if they know each other - must've been Obiang or Fernandes?

Yes the only reason he would keep stum is if the club pressured him in an embargoest fashion, but if they wanted that silence why the hell would big Willy be openly in West Ham gear parading around for all to see in the first place and then no one else looking for a nice scoop noticed.

To be honest our defence so far (I know it's only 2 games) would have looked a lot stronger with Collins in it. I appreciate he is in the autumn of his career but I would give a new 12 month contract and start grooming him for a coaching role. James Collins is just so West Ham, love the fella.
Played well tonight, probably my mom

I'm not sure what 'keeping tabs on, but no bid' means? But, we're keeping tabs on but haven't bid for Sunderland's Ndong.

Trying to outdo the Brentwood Gazette I think.

Too skinny to be Carvalho. Pretty certain it's Fernandes.

bubbles500 wrote:Was Carvalho ever real I doubt it.They knew the release clause from the get go and deliberately repeatedly bid under it.
Just because he has a release price doesn't mean the selling club would turn down a lower bid.
Also doesn't mean he's worth the asking price.

35m is 5m less than the release, but 35m more than Sporting are otherwise going to get.
I'm not convinced he's worth half that amount. Portugal is a lot different to the Premier League and he's at one of the top clubs and only has four games per season against teams better than Championship standard.

People honestly thought that Carvalho, a player who would smash our record transfer fee, would be at Cheltenham, in West Ham gear, before we had even signed/announced him officially..

Don't ever change Kumb.
