I am fully aware of his reputation, simply pointing out that he isn't always right.

Nobody's always right. Jinxed isn't. Pezza isn't. Ex isn't. IronMike isn't. Di Marzio isn't. Inkersole isn't. Clayton isn't. Dyer isn't.

Looks pacy and skillful but his stats suggest the lack of an end product. 2 goals and 1 assist from 21 games.

Assist against Man United and scored v Liverpool in this year's Champions League where his form looks much better than in la Liga.

I guess, being argentine, hullisos would be pretty clued up as to his potential. With lanzini out, we really could do with 2 attacking midfielders coming in.

His overall record this year is 14 goals or assists in 39, mostly gathered in cup games or Europe.

He would be a decent signing, depends if we’re selling Antonio or missing out on Felipe Anderson.

Denis Suarez has been linked now hasn’t he? I said he’d be ideal at the start of the window.

So The deal could be close, especially considering its been very quiet today, when we seem to have been having daily updates from the Italian media.
How good is this gomez chap? Maybe we and just cut out the middleman... if Lazio are keen to mess us around.

I think you'll probably find a common thread here-- all of our better halves are infallible. Just ask 'em.

I’ve seen talk that our chances are limited for Seri due to Napoli basically waiting to sell Jorginho and get ahead of us him.

Seen today that Napoli are buying Fabian Ruiz from Betis for 26m. My Spanish football knowledge isn’t great, so I’m not sure if he’d be a direct replacement for Jorginho, but same position I think?

Weren’t we linked with Ruiz for a much lower price last season?
