Having Bernard Anderson and yarnalenko behind arnie would be mouthwatering

I don’t think I’d have ever seen a more exciting set of offensive players than Anderson, Arnautovic, Yarmolenko, Hernandez and Bernard at West Ham.

Even Payet had crap around him.

I can’t see any of Arnie, Yarmie, Chicharito, Anderson or Bernard being happy on the bench at little ol’ West Ham. Plus Lanzini to return.

Without Europe we’re not going to be able to give them enough games.

Money better spent elsewhere. Even if that is a bit boring. Sorry.

The West Ham way is that one or more will be injured at any one time. Plus I don’t think Hernandez will be here next season unfortunately

A proper defensive mid signing would make it an incredible window.

I'm not sure we should get rid of Byram. Zabaleta will turn 34 in January and is into the last year of his contract. We're going to need a decent back up to Fredericks oncehe goes out the door, and Byram has certainly show enough in my opinion to suggest he could be a perfect one for the style of play we'll get from Fredericks.

Drinkwater can stay at Chelsea. Or anywhere else that's not us.

Maybe the ideal scenario with Byram is to send him on loan for the year, hoping that he does well enough for us either to keep him or that he raises his profile enough that we can sell him for a decent fee.

Ideal scenario for me. He’s the *type* of right back Pellegrini would want. He just needs to be better. Maybe 12 months of consistent football might do that.

I don’t see the need for Drinkwater, he’s very similar to Noble imo and of fairly similar quality. We desperately need an athletic DM to help give our attackers the platform to play and to provide protection to the back 4, Drinkwater ticks none of these boxes.

Byram needs to stay healthy for any eventuality to be remotely considered. His injury record is as bad as the worst in our side. He's been sidelined for 336 days in the last 3 seasons.

People talking about drinkwater, if we want a chelsea midfielder on loan bakayoko should be the one,
His pre chelsea form for monaco was outstanding,
Young, athletic and a real ball winner,
Get him back to anything like his monaco form and would be fantastic business, as good if not better than doucoure who we wouldn't get.

Byram wouldn’t just back up Fredericks he also was a pretty decent winger for Leeds

Could be very useful specially in the cups

I am genuinely never satisfied

I remember thinking and saying numerous times that Yarmolenko, Anderson and to a certain extent Wilshere were kind of dream signings that I thought would never happen it was too good to be true. We got them; I’m beyond ecstatic.

Now someone hints at Bernard despite, as far as I can remember, no credible (Jinxed) ITK saying we’re in for him and I’m all excited and hopeful again! Would be absolutely insane.

1. Pelligrini usually plays four attacking players, so even if we got Bernard (certainly not looking imminent) that’s just one of them on the bench.
2. If we have two injuries in that position we are actually short.
3. Hernández doesn’t have to (and perhaps shouldn’t) start every game. He basically hasn’t done that at any club he’s been at.

I actually bet that if we end up short in any department this season, it’ll be attacking midfield. I reckon Antonio will be sold and of course Snodgrass too. We are then just a couple of injuries away from not having enough attacking players to fill Pelligrini’s preferred style.

I’d sign one more winger as a back-up plus a good defensive midfielder.

Except for the now tired injury argument, which also him playing a part in 38 games last season has hopefully seen him move on, what makes you think it’s so a bad ?
