I see no reason why we can't make it four on the trot. It does depend on a few things however.
Zabs needs to continue being the beast he was in the second half last week.
Rice needs another monster performance in the middle.
Hernandez needs to continue to show he isn't as lazy as I thought.
Snodgrass needs another athletic game and Diop needs to continue with his intelligent positioning and use of the ball.

We are a goal shy from 1.5 goals per game.

Fulham conceded at the crazy rate of 2.5 per game (40 in 16!)

Mrs B broke her leg on Scafell Pike in the summer. I told her it was a sprained ankle and made her walk down 3 miles on it.

She has started speaking to me again recently.

My concern here is complacency. Have a feeling that could be our undoing this weekend.
I also worry about the team being complacent, as we have seen it before this season against teams we're expected to beat.

However, I don't see much too much optimism from KUMB members on this thread. In fact, people have been remarkably pessimistic considering the form we're in and the fact they're bottom.

Predictions so far that I could decipher from a quick flick through the thread:
WHU win: 6
Draw: 4
Fulham win: 6

I think it's important that we have a physical presence up top with hernandez as opposed to playing Perez with him. Carroll or big mike will do. As fluid as we are playing it's good to have that out ball plus Carroll still has that ability to hold it up and bring others into play when our passing game isn't on point.

I think people need to stop thinking we have suddenly turned into Barcelona.
We still have a ropey unattentive defence which let in two rubbish goals in the last match and we
let in one in this manner nearly every match. Saying that, i would like to think we will win and furthermore
the last two matches we have done it without Arnie and a few others. I am actually beginning to
wonder if we were too reliant on him and depite knowing he is excellent, if we were to be offered silly money for him pellegrini might cash in and get one or two others. Still not convinced by Perez though.

You say we have a ropey defence but I just think we struggle with set pieces, the three goals you mention all came from set pieces. Someone mentioned it on another thread but I feel like practicing free kicks and corners isn’t high on Pellegrini’s agenda, which of course leads to our defence being out of practice dealing with them.

If we limit the amount of corners Fulham get we’ll be more than fine.

No one has said we are Barcelona, most of us think we've improved massively since the start of the season.

With the likes of Carroll, Ogbonna and Obiang on the training pitch, you'd have thought we could give our back four a real good test each week.

Strange.

If ever there was a team that considers West Ham it's bogey team then surely it's Fulham. Have we ever lost a game to them? I certainly don't remember one, and my hazy alcohol clouded memory is surely more reliable than any online record.

Add to that our fine looking, free scoring attack, their haphazard defence and perilous position at the foot of the table and you'd have to have this as an away banker.

I certainly will, and will be putting West Ham to win in my accumulator this week, just as I did away to the barcodes.

I don't think I would be playing about with the Football Gods though, we all know what West Ham are capable of doing to you..... it's the hope that kills you.

Based on the recent stats of both teams it should be a high scoring game.
We are scoring a fair few, but rarely keep a clean sheet, whilst Fulham are shipping lots of goals.
My prediction is 0-0

One of my colleagues old man who is a fulham STH has already given his 4 away which I was holding out on.

Has anyone had any luck with the fulham ticket office? Their website says they sell tickets via the phoneline only for the neutral section but it rings indefinitely and then gets cut off.

You’d think so, but I don’t think Pellerini will be running many set-piece drills in his training sessions. Whereas the likes of Moyes and Allardyce would have trained their team to try and take advantage of set-pieces, Pellegrini would rather focus on open play.

Whilst this has led to some lovely football being played, our lack of goals from set-pieces and our issues defending them are fairly obvious. Haven’t we only scored from one corner this season in the league?
