June Robins

Sad news. I'll remember June as one of those no-nonsense, old school, East End Matriarch-types.

R.I.P. June. Served us many times at East Ham, a few times at Romford too.

Robins pie and mash was always my favourite. RIP June :crest:

Obviously not as good as what you get in their shops but the Robins frozen pie, mash and liquor meal you get in Asda is decent enough.

RIP June xxxx.

For me Robin's is the best P&M, second was Duncan's on hill opposite UP station, Kelly's was'nt bad either

I have never eaten in Nathan's as it just don't look like proper P&M to me, never understood it.

Always Robins at East Ham, now Wanstead for me before a game if I need a P&M fix.

Lost your chance now!
I think Robin's is sort of flaky pastry, Nathan's was shortcrust pastry.
Both very nice.
Miss Nathan's, though I believe he may be supplying a pub in Essex, out North Weald way??
Well he was during last years World Cup.
