He was directly concerned with both our goals against Fulham, scored against NUFC (after running them ragged all game) and has been part of a team with - for once - real attacking threat.
I voted CC, but Etherington definitely deserves the shout.
Went for ethers. Would have gone for cole if he hadn't got done for drink driving and being out at 4.30 in the morning. I have no idea how Scotty parker has that many votes. So many misplaced passes this season.

So just looked up the stats.
Passers Team Passes Accuracy
Xabi Alonso Liverpool 424 84%
Denilson Arsenal 416 85%
Lampard Chelsea 415 84%
Parker West Ham 353 87%
Butt Newcastle 352 81%
4th most passes in the league, highest pass completion.......
Maybe someone might like to tell Blades or Blades fans that they can come and vote which will be used against us in court somewhere soon down the line....

I'm sure the first article I read said 3:00, the next 3:30 and so on.
I voted Ethers. He's adapting very well to Zolas formations. Versatility wasn't something I'd have expected from him.
I think Behrami deserves to be in front of Ilunga.
Great to see people debating the issue. It means we have half adozen candidates. Good sign. I'd go for Mark Noble, but nobody will agree with me on that one.
Voted Ethers. Would have gone Cole if he had converted a couple of opportunities. Both are equal in my book though.
On a side note - Behrami is looking like he will improve considerably. Really impressed at how much he gets around the park, and would have scored against Fulham if it hadn't been for a very good save.

Even the few who defended him then were shouted down with inconsistency, poor attitude and general crapness being the chief reasons for his departure.
We are a fickle bunch aren't we?
I didn't vote for him, but I don't see why it's fickle to vote for Ethers. The question is specifically, who was the best player of September, not who was best last season or during the pre-season tour or whatever. If a person's opinion is that Matty was tops in that month, then there's nothing wrong with voting for him on that basis, rather than on the basis of what's happened before that or on some sort of prediction of what might happen in the future.
Behrami for me. Take away his constant hard work and strenght in the middle and I'm not sure the system would work. Zola has played a blinder making him a central midfielder.
I always loved watching him play (not in a sexual way). To see where he come from with his personal problems then explode (not in a sexual way) on the pitch - it's feckin great.
