I'd never seen that particular one of the bomb damage to the Boleyn. Astonishing picture.

The one of Martin Peters - that hair, those ears - he could have been Leonard Nimoy's double in Star Trek's early days.

thanks dave the photo that got me was the fans celebrating the 1980 fa cup win see my old chinese in the background more so because i went to school with there daughter


happy day's when east ham was a really nice place to live not like the toilet we live in today

Just seen some clips from 1989 beating Sunderland 5-0. I had forgotten all about this game somehow. Great goal by Keen and Stuart Slaters volley is surely up there with one of our best goals ever......
But it was Eamonn Dolans hat trick that brought a tear to my eye....
