We will never experience another year like the one where Frankie and TC banged in a shedload of goals and nearly took us to the title. Proper football in those days, untainted by sky money. :(

I've still got mine from when I was 11. The Avco transfer has started to peel off....hmmm a bit like the Jobserve transfer on that hideous reebok kit we had a couple of seasons back.

Might have missed it so apologies if he's already made an appearance, but Bobby Barnes anyone???

Ten points for the first to name the defender with the tache

I thought at first the keeper was Shilton...

Paul Goddard - patchily brilliant.

I would say it was about 1957/8 because in the picture is , Ted Fenton manager, Noel Cantwell, John Bond, Andy Malcomb, Ken Brown, John Smith, Johnny Dick, and Vic Keeble, the year I believe we got promoted to the then first division .

I can only feel sorry for younger Hammers on here. It doesn't look like you'll ever see the Hammers lifting a pot.
I am only grateful that I have seen us win 4 major cup finals that were spread over a 16 year period, that on reflection now seems like golden times for this club, althiugh we did suffer a relegation in there as well'
I truly fear for the future of this club now. We will survive, but in what guise is anyone's guesss.
