There is a kits section but it's not a "Historical Kits" type listing of kits with a graphic for each kit, it's a blokes collection of actual shirts.

I was thinking more of something like this but with our own graphics: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/West_Ha ... United.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Start with our own version of that, only add kits if there's very good evidence for them, only take kits out if there's very good evidence that they're wrong. Cut out the drift that occurs through chopping and changing things on too flimsy evidence.

Over the years we've corrected the pink shirts, I got a modern style kit removed from listed as eighteen ninety odd, I got an absolute abomination of a kit removed that was pure speculation from a statement of we played in red white and blue, I got the castle blue over white and scarlet added, and too many other corrections to remember them all - The drift is slow but it definitely happens.

I can remember the incident quite well, it was not a collision between Ferguson and Mcdowell, Ferguson came well out of the six yard box to claim a high ball, with Mcdowell standing immediatly in front of Ferguson, back first, as ferguson rose to collect the ball over Mcdowell's head , Mcdowell bent over 90 degrees which made Ferguson topple over him 180 degrees and come down on his head infront of Mcdowell. It was'nt pleasant and look like he had broke his neck.
If i recall some opposing players were bending over when a keeper came out to collect a high ball after this incident , but was quickly outlawed by the FA.....bloody hell i am getting old. :wink:

I remember the incident clearly just not the game it was in or that Clyde Best went in goal.

We were in North Bank that day and it was so rammed that my old man decided that it wasn't the best place for a 7 year old so next game we went to Chicken Run and that became our home for the next 10 years.
