Re: 09/10 Kits [POLL]
Newcastle and Ipswich to wear Sir Bobby Robson tribute kits
Newcastle and Ipswich Town have been given permission to use special kits for their Championship match at Portman Road, Ipswich’s home stadium, on the 26th September. The kits will be a tribute to long-serving football figure Sir Bobby Robson, who died of cancer on the 31st July at the age of 76. Although during his playing career he played mainly for Fulham and West Bromwich Albion, he later moved into management and coached a total of 9 teams. Two of these were Ipswich (1969-1982) and Newcastle, the last team he coached between 1999 and 2004. His death was felt throughout the country, especially in the football world for the invaluable contribution he gave to the beautiful game.
The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation collects funds to research a cure for the lethal disease that took away Sir Bobby from this land. It will be an extremely noble gesture by both Ipswich and Newcastle to wear shirts on this special occasion with the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation logo embroidered on them. In the case of Newcastle, this will be placed on the right side of the chest, while in the case of home team Ipswich this will be placed above the club crest on the left side of the chest. The date of the event will also be embroidered on the shirts, and they will be auctioned after the match to raise funds for cancer research. Ipswich Town will also rename the North Stand in Portman Road to Sir Bobby Robson Stand.

Re: 09/10 Kits [POLL]
Saw the 2009/2010 (current) shirts for sale in Decathalon (Lakeside) today - cheaper than the club prices
They also have a few kids shirts too, should anyone be interested...
