Hammerettes [POLL]
Are they back? I'm not really a season ticket holder but I'm curious.

Re: Hammerettes
Only for the really big ones UTJ shirley .
As for the girlys dancing ? No , they did a routine that was a little too risque for me in their last season with us .
Family club and all that .

I think you're on rocky ground there PP given your longstanding support for our new owners who, as we all know, made their fortunes from pornography, sex aids and crutchless knickers!the pink palermo wrote:Family club and all that .
I agree fully with your sentiment, however. It's a 'no' from me too (not that we have a choice).

Perhaps we will have them reinvent themselves as the "Hardcore Hammerettes" , just to get into the swing of things .Up the Junction wrote: I think you're on rocky ground there PP given your longstanding support for our new owners who, as we all know, made their fortunes from pornography, sex aids and crutchless knickers!

Re: Hammerettes
I don't know about hardcore PP but I recall seeing some fairly 'racy' stuff on their subscription website (thanks to someone kindly posting their log-in details on here some years ago) ... IIRC it was that which led to their sacking (unauthorised use of the club logo etc).the pink palermo wrote:Perhaps we will have them reinvent themselves as the "Hardcore Hammerettes" , just to get into the swing of things .

UTJ
Thanks for that - hadn't realised they had blotted their copybook to that extent .
In all seriousness I can't see our new owners letting them back just in case the press make too much of a link between scantily clad dancng girls and their other business interests .
A Brass band is more appropriate than a band of Brasses .
Read the half times from elsewhere out , and the racing results or some such . Quietly as well - prefer to have a chat whilst eating a pie .

Re: Hammerettes
I have never really got half time entertainment. My half time "entertainment" always seems to be discussing how dire the first half was, or trying to get to the toilet and back before the second half. So the only improvements I can see for my half time would be plasma screens above the urinals, and an effigy of Mark Lawrenson to punch or burn.
Saying that, if we have to have half time entertainment, then we should borrow ideas from Taliban United FC.

Re: Hammerettes
If we're going to waste LBM at half-time I want to see the whites of his eyes so I say no to dressing him up as a rag head.

Re: Hammerettes
I see no need to post a picture of someone's life being exterminated on a football forum.

Unless it's Neil Warnock, obviously.
