Bolton was a crucial game.... no atmosphere or backing was there?brownout wrote:There would have been a good atmosphere tonight anyway - crucial game.
Not like the old days of course, but better than usual.
As I said since the last games of the Tevez season there hasnt been a decent sing song at home really, one game that I remember where most of the crowd had left and chanting and clapping was occuring all over the ground from those who stayed - off the top of my head cant remember who we were playing though!!!
Ok so in that time we havent had much to chant about but thats not supose to be the point, thick and thin etc.....

The atmosphere was good for about 2 and a half minutes before it all went pear-shaped and the players looked completely disinterested… The atmosphere isn't half as bad as some people are making out, our home support is still better than most teams

I am sure that was Bolton again, was one of the first times (me included) that we felt we might just get out of itMD_HM wrote:Ok so in that time we havent had much to chant about but thats not supose to be the point, thick and thin etc.....

Voted No.
I like what they are trying to do, I just don't like the way they are doing it!

I'm gonna take a photo of myself with mine when I return from the game tonight, then put it up on the KUMB Facebook page.
Should make a cracking profile picture, too

I'm tempted to agree. But if they played 'Gertcha' I might be won around.brownout wrote:Add me to the list of those who will only go to away games if they start playing music after goals.

To sum it up our atompshere at upton park is now average as ever, its declined so much from the days where at times shivers went down your spine! The reason the club are handing these out is only to try make the atomsphere better! If it was good enough they would not hand them out in the first place.

No-ones saying the atmosphere hasn't declined, but gestures such as this isn't the way to improve it.whufc32 wrote:To sum it up our atompshere at upton park is now average as ever, its declined so much from the days where at times shivers went down your spine! The thing that made me laugh was I thought people would throw them on the pitch early on... But even after going 2-0 down people kept hold of the clappers!
Then when we conceded the 3rd goal there was a flood of these claret and blue clappers flying onto the pitch, strange thing to see.

Well, the clappers weren't the most embarrassing thing about this evening, were they?

Re: Clap banner giveaway on Tuesday [POLL]
did anyone try to wear their clapper as a blanket as instructed before the match?
