Re: the New kits thread
I think it's quite nice, however I don't think it should be our away kit. 3rd kit yes (like the black Adidas one). Thing is though the kit buying demographic is young'uns so I wouldn't be at all surprised if the kit designers are thinking more about what the kids would like rather than us old gits

Re: the New kits thread
I loved that shirt, but pretty sure we had white shorts and socks with it (which we always should) as the Historical Football Kits site shows?
I can only assume this was an away game?

Was not a fan of this seasons shirt, and doubt I will be a fan of next seasons. Did umbro fire all of their designers or something!? Our last shirt at the Boleyn was magnificent.

The adidas kit Goddard is wearing is indeed a thing of beauty, my personal favourite of all time.

Correct, those are the away shorts and socks in that picture, but it gives people an idea of how the blue option will look.hammerdivone wrote:I loved that shirt, but pretty sure we had white shorts and socks with it
We have never had blue shorts AND socks as our home kit. Had them individually as part of the home kit, but never together.

Re: the New kits thread
The thing is all these manufacturers release a new kit every year, knowing kids will always want the latest kit that is out. But in reality, all these manufacturers are lazy, use a certain template and create the same kit for most of their clients. Our kit will look **** if its the same template as Everton's as it just doesn't look right.
Its funny because our kit should be pretty easy to design as we have good colours. It is just laziness and greed, the kit we used this season just gone was an absolute pile of ****, worst kit i have seen in years yet people still buy it. It just means companies like Umbro can whip up a template on Photoshop in 10 minutes and distribute it to all their clients as people will buy it regardless.

Re: the New kits thread
someone posted this on the previous pages but imagine this with the new logo minus "London" and betway in white as small font as possible without looking silly

This shirt, minus the three stripes and add in the Umbro logo down the sleeves instead. Job done. Wont happen though
