Atletico Madrid sign new Sock Sponsorship Deal with PES2015
Originally signing a sock sponsorship deal with Sockatyes, Atletico Madrid will now don the PES2015 sponsor on their socks for the rest of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Atletico Madrid and twelve other La Liga teams will wear the PES2015 sponsor on their socks. The deal with Sockatyes spans over 20 Spanish clubs in the top two divisions and the new PES2015 is the first official sponsor featured on the socks. The broadcast of La Liga last week aimed to highlight the new sock sponsors on the 12 teams in La Liga including Celta Vigo, Rayo Vallecano and Malaga.
Has this gone too far in terms of sponsorship deals? What’s next after this, can we expect to see more sponsors on the shirts, who knows.
kin hell where is it going to end

Bolivians outraged with British kit design
A Bletchley-based kit designer Angelo Trofa has received huge outrage from Bolivians over a kit design he made.
The kit design features the Whiphala flag which represents the indigenous population of Bolivia. Trofa posted the image on social media and received a surprising amount of people outraged with the design. Some Bolivians said he should have more respect with over 200 abusive comments received by Trofa.
The 26 year old kit designer has designed kits for the past three years and he as always dreamed of being a kit designer. What do you think of the shirt design?

Chile and Nike sign 8-year Deal
The national football team of Chile was founded in 1895. The team is governed by the CONMEBOL confederation comprising of teams from South America. Chile’s team presently ranks 16th in the April 2015 FIFA rankings showing the quality of head coach Jorge Sampaoli’s selection of players and their performances on the international stage. In its history, Chile have appeared in 9 World Cups and their best performance was a third-place finish when they hosted the event in 1962.
The Chilean Football Federation and American kit supplier Nike have come to an agreement whereby for the first time in the national team’s history, Nike will be the kit supplier. The deal kicks off after the 2015 Copa America, which Chile will host between the 11th June and 4th July. The deal spans over 8 years and will run at least until the qualification phase for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The previous kit supplier was German brand Puma, which alongside Adidas, Nike and Under Armour bid for a new kit deal with the Chilean team. The $7 million per year offer by Nike was better than what the others offered and hence Nike and Chile will now cooperate on a $56 million deal for the next 8 years. Other countries like South Africa, Norway, Nigeria and China have switched to Nike over the past few months.
