Re: the New kits thread
]Why is it every other club seemingly gets their new kits out before the summer, and we're stuck until the season starts?
Our lot are probably more concerned with shifting as much of the old stock before they release the new..
if you havent shifted most of it by jan/feb , who is going to buy it when we all know the new one is 4 months away , esp that 3rd kit abhorrence

Re: the New kits thread
West Brom and Bournmouth kits ruined by their sponsors.
We've been pretty lucky with Betway tbh.
That West Brom kit would be pretty great except for the sponsor.

Re: the New kits thread
Years ago around 2005 we always used to play in the new home kit at the last home game of the season. That used to no doubt create loads of sales after the last home game (I know I always got mine then ) and during the following few weeks. The away kit then used to be released around Fathers day, creating more sales. (thus both kits would be out for the summer holidays = more sales ) Finally, the third kit would come out about a week before the start of the season. Why nothing gets released until end July, I dont know. It doesnt make sense. Loads of other teams release new kits in May. Why we dont anymore, I havent a clue

Re: the New kits thread
If they can be bought cheap, they're perfect for a midweek 5 a side league.
Those Puma templates Plymouth and now Luton have got look good. Would be fine with any manufacturer giving us stuff of that standard if it meant something plain and in the right colours.

I wish they would drop the London from the badge , I am sure sales would rocket if they did or bring the castle back.

I assume the lack of castle is why there is a load of these shirts from 1983 for sale in the shop, too:
https://www.officialwesthamstore.com/sa ... shirt.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Truth is, they probably sell a fairly consistent amount of these every season - and I wouldn't be surprised if most of them were on a discount anyway. Can't imagine there are a great number of fans with every shirt from every year, or similar, in their cupboards. Last one I bought was the last season at the Boleyn - and only then because it was a beauty - and a throwback.
Maybe if Umbro upped their game on producing a quality kit, they'd get more sales. Truth is every shirt they've done for us recently, and during the contract before this in the 00s, has been trash, with the exception of the one that required next to now 'design' to go into it because it was just a copy of the 1904 shirt with modern techniques used.
Those two years that Adidas did are our best recent ones.
