Puma take over Red Star Belgrade Shirts serbia
After just one year Red Star will end their shirt deal with Legea, prematurely ending the contract, they’ll be in Puma by the summer. Fans of the club will be excited to see Puma on the club’s shirt again, the brand they wore when they became European Champions.
Played at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari, Italy, on May 29th Red Star defeated Olympique Marseille of France, normal time & extra time could not seoarate the sides, so the 1991 European Cup Final went to a penalty shootout. A miss by Manuel Amoros of Marseille was to prove crucial and Red Star went on to win the first and only European Cup.
^^^^ Them bods in the top picture in the 2nd post up look like they have been plucked from outside Stoke's training ground and then stuck in some foreign kit.
I presume our Dark Blue away kit will make only its second appearance on Saturday at Aston Villa.
I remember once we turned up with a sky blue kit and the Ref (Rob Styles I believe) ordered that we couldn't play with the same colour sleeves (sky blue) as Villa, so forced Villa to play at home in their White Away shirts.
(also noticed in midweek in the development squad game that the dark blue kit was used away to Arsenal - so it was alright for the development squad but not the first team!?!!)
