Named player of the month for December. Let's hope he can continue to improve and be the player we all hope he can be.

Young Danny making a few starts in the claret and blue would've been a great Christmas present for his old man. :crest:

I have got to agree with you mate, he had a dream debut, especially being called up last minute, but his next 2 games were nothing special. He will be a solid player for us in the next few years and I hope he goes on to acheive the same special place Steve had in all our hearts.

Deserves it after his debut.

However, he wasn't all that impressive against Derby. I'm not having a pop at him, hardly anyone was impressive in that game and I'm sure he will replicate his debut form soon, given a chance.

I wonder if that's the first time anyone's been named Player of the Month and been dropped for the next game?

Well done to him, was it deserved though? I'm not sure, maybe it was just to make up for the MOTM he should have got.
