Poor lad, didn't he have another head injury not long ago or am I mixing him up with another player.

Great to hear.

Always reminds me of this :)
Instead we turn to the wise words of former Partick Thistle manager John Lambie. George Shaw, one of Lambie’s strikers, collided with an opposition player and was knocked out cold. When he came round the trainer said to the manager: “Boss he’s got concussion, he doesn’t know who he is.” Lambie replied: “Tell him he’s Pele and send him back on.”

Apologies as I haven't read through the whole thread but we were saying when it happened yesterday he jumped late for a ball he was never going to win and his inexperience unfortunately caused him to get injured. Oh and he didn't jump from a standing start at all if you look at it again, he covered some ground to get there.

That aside glad to hear he's out of hospital and recovering

George Shaw, what a player he was. Remember seeing him for Ross County, against Partick funnily enough walking about the bookies 10 minutes before kick off.

Glad to hear Potts is ok, he has come in and done very well. With everything he has gone through so far you have to give the lad credit.

Yep, I watched the replay and realised that my memory of the collision was quite different from the event itself. That's memory for you - it's prone to err, especially in situations of high tension. It wasn't even half as dangerous as my distorted memory of it made it seem to me.

Good to hear. Glad all of his bits are where they're supposed to be and functioning properly. While on the subject, someone probably ought to explain to Sagna that he shouldn't be moving a knocked out and prone player's head about to see if he's ok. There was no way of knowing it wasn't a neck injury.

With all that that boy has been through I'm so glad he's alright. Once he was injured the scoreline became irrelevant to me, as I'm sure it did to most people. Hope he gets back and up and running quickly, I really do have high hopes for him.

I'm not saying he won't, I'm just curious to how you came to that conclusion. I think he has a bright future in the game and is a talented defender. I would love him to lead out the claret and blue for many years like he's dad did. If and i do mean IF would the Potts family be the first family to have a father and son captaining a premier league team.

Was a worry seeing Dan down for 10 mins with 8 medics surrounding him. Imagine how his dad was feeling. Anyway, chuffed and releived he's OK. Huge reception waiting for him at UP.
