According to t'internet, Rami Shaaban was on loan to us for about a month in 2004 but never played. He seems to have stopped by on the way from Arsenal to Brighton. I'd never heard of him so had to look him up.LeonRivers wrote: Blimey, where did this come from?
He never played for us though?

WTF do I do here?
Faubert's double delight
Former Hammer Julian Faubert joined a select group of professional footballers earlier this week when he made his international debut for Martinique.
The 31-year-old winger became one of just a handful of players to have represented two international teams at full level when he played in the tiny Caribbean Island's 1-1 draw with neighbours Curacao, an even smaller island that is situated around 100km north of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea, on Wednesday evening.
Faubert - who made a sole start (plus one as sub) for France against Bosnia in 2006 used a loophole to feature for Martinique, who are registered to CONCACAF but not FIFA, in the Caribbean Nations Cup 2014.

With Kanoute, he had never played for France, so became Malian when he switched international allegiance. Faubert has played international football for two countries now....
