yes the EPL is an absolute cash cow, imagine how much profit the owners of clubs above us in the revenue stakes like man City and Chelsea are raking in profits. If it wasnt for Chelsea supporters proping up Abromovich he would be broke. This report show wthat a black hole the premiership has become we are the 10th biggest earners, still spending well above out income and cant guarnatee a spot in the premiership and on the verge of bankruptcy along with 17 other clubs (Man U, Arsenal and Tottenahm excluded ) and 2 of those 3 clubs want to overthrow there boards/owners.mangers for not spending enough
Re: Rich list - West Ham 10th in England, 29th in EuropeWhat a shame we cannot turn that money into proper football. Just solid winning football would do.
Then again it is true of many clubs anyway right? The Heysel Stadium incident was Europe's excuse and English clubs never quite recovered.
Re: Rich list - West Ham 10th in England, 29th in Europe
If you want that we'd need to get relegated for it to happen. Winning football in the premier league costs hundreds of millions pounds of investment over the course of multiple seasons and most importantly, continuity. Winning football in the premier league is only achieved by around 20% of Clubs ( the top 4 ), the rest lose and draw more games than they win. We are a team that last year was playing Doncaster and Watford.and relied on Freddie Piquionne's arse to win us games.
Re: Rich list - West Ham 10th in England, 29th in Europe
I bet none of the top 4 had that sort of entertainment though. They can shove their perfect, free flowing, counter attacking goals up that place that Piquionne scored with.
