There's four of us that can chip in for a cab, so a tenner each on top of the cheap match tickets isn't a massive problem. Taxi there is fine, bit worried that getting a taxi to hang around whilst I'm queuing for tickets might be expensive/problematic.

Just sorted a 4-bed room for £18 a bed. After having to jack in the Leicester trip, I'm well forward to Thursday.

I have just realised I'm going to have to let my bird book my ticket for me as I won't be able to get time off work on the Tuesday, I will have to write her a list out of areas where to sit I think.

Also IF we get to Wembley how will it be done ticketwise as I cannot remember how it happened last time, will it be by phoning the T/O or online in some way?

can not believe the cardiff away restrictions, it's effectively made the game a non-starter for me.

good luck to anyone who is going

Im backtracking now and humble pie etc...
but i got a good feeling about the playoffs...

if we get to Wembley (which i believe we will) the pitch will help...
Most of teams game against us was stiffling our play and parking a bus, not giving us time and that was our undoing, alongside hoofing it all the time...

At Wembley teams cant do that... its a massive pitch....

Our players can play a more offensive passing game and hopefully, run rings....

Imagine the space Baldock and Maynard will have to run into...and then theres Vaz Te!

even CFC has found his touch at the right time....

(Although saying this Sam'll proberly go for 1-0)

Yesterday, Cardiff had 3/7 of the Arthur Waite stand at Palace and didn't completely fill it. By contrast, for a league game much earlier in the season, we filled 5/7 of the same stand. They weren't 'bubbled', had coaches parked up all along one of the roads leading away and were let out onto the streets at the same time as the home support.

Appreciably, the 2nd leg of a play off semi is a little more important than their final game of the season, but the match against us is televised and is later on in the afternoon on a Bank Holiday.

Reckon they're good to go for 2000-2500 tickets, but not many more.

And lets not forget; their grounds 'too big for them'. :P

Last time it was done via ticketmaster or a similar company. Had to phone in or could do it online.

I remember there was an issue one time where those without season tickets managed to book tickets on first day of sale, then later got an email saying their transaction was rejected. Think it worked out ok but the site will be bound to crash when tickets go on sale.

Alright lads, Cardiff based Hammer here with a little report from the front line.

its gonna be quite nervy Thursday. The general feeling is that Cardiff will park the bus at home, then try and sneak a goal at UP. Cant see it myself.

Im good mates with Wittingham's bro in law, and I have it on good authority he likes a bit of a drink, particularly before big games. Last season, Cardiff played QPR in basically an auto promo shootout. I know for a fact Witts was out until 6am the night before, then played like a ****er all game. Cardiff lost and QPR went up! He is their key man, so lets hope he "bottles" it.

This is ours to lose COYI!!!

I can't not see us overcoming Cardiff over two legs, I really can't, but what if, by any chance, we don't ? What then do you think will happen to Allardyce should we not even make it to the Play off final ? If we don't, he will admit himself, that the season has been a failure. So, it is all very well us all thinking we will make it, but what if we don't ? I think this question has to be asked and I also think, we must prepare for it. Personally, my own guess and that is all it is, is that he will offer his resignation. If so, will G&S accept it ? I wonder. But, I think everybody, including the board, may have to start thinking about this, as perish the thought, we may have to in just over a week from now.

I hope he doesn't go if the worst happens, everything seems to be clicking into place now, theres more fluidity to our play, we are playing some decent football, we are pressing superbly when we don't have the ball and we are scoring plenty of goals (should have been alot more though) over the last few seasons the teams that have generally gone up are the ones with settled sides that have been together for a season or two, as long as we don't have a firesale of our best players and the squad remains pretty much intact with two or three additions to it, i actually fancy us to be even stronger next season and would take some stopping!
