2011/12 Season Review DVD

Does anybody know if the club will be releasing a season review DVD this year?

Last season they didn't bother (understandably) but it would be nice to have something for this season, particularly given our excellent performances on the road - maybe they could release an 'away days' DVD? Perhaps it depends on whether or not we gain promotion.

I was actually quite gutted when they didn't do the season review last year - okay we were relegated, but there were some bloody good games in there (Beating Spurs at home, beating Man Utd in the league cup, the comeback against WBA) I've purchased every season review since the early 90's (they even did a DVD when we were relegated in 2003). I suspect the decision not to produce the DVD was something to do with cost cutting/saving money?

It has been a very good season with plenty of memorable moments, certainly worthy of the DVD highlights treatment

Not to mention stuffing Liverpool at our place, demolishing Stoke 3 - 0 and two good cup runs.

I think they thought no one would want it, but it is a piece of our history. In fact the season previous was *****, only showing wins. We're big boys, we can take it. Imagine the greatest escape DVD without the context of the ***** leading up to the run in.

We want full season reviews every season damn it (now I'm annoyed)

I wonder if it will be like the 2005 DVD when there was a separate disc with the play off final win alongside the season highlights.

For sure theey must do one for last season but the "good bits" from the previous year would satsify "completists" like me who buy the DVD regardless because it is all part of our history.
