For what's it's worth on this thread just before we were relegated under Sir Trev I was in the company of one of our players auntie and she said if we went down her nephew had told her that he would stay to get the club back up. Other people were party to this conversation not only me.

I posted it on here - got slaughtered (thanks chalks) and of course the player ****ed off to another club, although to be fair I think we sold him because the bank wanted the money.

I very rarely get info about West Ham but I would'nt post it - once bitten twice shy.

According to link on News Now, Yakubu is coming in for a medical next week the rumour is from a Mr B Palmer. Whilst the majority of ITK is b*llocks surely it's to be taken as your choice to believe it or not.

I find him amusing, he does not seem to have an agenda unlike certain ITKs .

Ridiculous, anything over 4 and IMO it isn't worth it.

Actually yes, I had a bad experience that I'd rather not talk about.

Sticky situation?

The 26 year old captain of Den Haag in the Dutch first division is a central defender and is available on a Bosman.

And with a name like that he would fit in just perfectly...

Crystal Palace and Ipswich are in talks with West Ham about signing striker Sam Baldock.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is chasing Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero

This thread's title is indeed the giveaway.

So long as we can all accept that the media (in all of their forms) have got to keep them circulated, a lot will wash up on this thread.

If people don't want to read Gummi's posts, there are simple ways of avoiding them.

I happen to think Vaz Te to Braga has a fairly credible ring to it - in terms of fee offered and club interested.
I also imagine that, if such an offer were made, it would be declined.

I didn't read it as Gummi professing to be ITK...

But his wages are probably a lot lower than someone like the Yak so over the length of the deal it comes out even.

Age aside I like Holt. Leads the line and has a bit more about him than someone like the Yak. A bit like Cole but with a better eye for goal.

Holt, Jones or Yak would be a step up from Cole (all be it a small step)

Good point, well made I just think it's a bit much to pay, although I will probably be wrong and he scores 10+ next season and of course then he will have been worth every penny.

In terms of goals then Yak has history to prove he will get more than Cole on average.

Holt to my mind is potentially more consistent.

Jones can do one. Don't want him here.

But none of them tweets like CFC and none of them could create a word like Overchuffed. I rest my case.

The French press has us in for Yannick Sagbo, a 23 year old striker.

Yakubu is great if he's allowed to walk around , then move a tiny bit faster if someone does all the work for him , laying the ball at his feet , good goalscorer though he is , he won't help out in defence like Carlton does , he won't do the lone man donkey work that Carlton does , and he won't hold the ball up like Carlton does , or bully defenders like Carlton does .
Carlton does all that AND score goals .
Holt amazes me , he looks like a darts player but he can still play football . Amazing . Reminds me of that Dean Whatsisface who tries to speak when working for Sky Sports but fails miserably .
Jones looks like he's been smoking marijuana before kick off , a poor man's Carlton .
Out of the 3 , Holt maybe , but the other 2 can seek employment elsewhere .
