If it really is Christopher Samba I wonder what we will pay him because he is on a reported £100,000 in russia

If he's that desperate to leave Russia then he could end up on something akin to what Nolan is currently on, and if anyone can convince him to do that it'll be Big Sam considering the reaction Samba had to his sacking at Blackburn.

Would be an outstanding signing if it comes off.

I'm so not itk but I met up with a fella on Thursday who has genuine links within the club.

He said that we are def not signing Holt but that we have real interest in Gallas and Defoe, 2 Liverpool players (no names mentioned), a Real Madrid reserve (presumably Joselu) and a couple of Heerenveen players (again no names). He also said that we have **** all to spend and expect lots of loans.

Like I say, I'm not itk and never have been. Just sharing what I heard

I don't know if it was ever on but we were apparently put off by his 70k a week wage demand, which I pointed out would be an absolute bargain.
