For Erfurt you need to register on their website, which is all in German, I managed it but it was a bit of a nightmare, if you need help let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

Its about 6 hours from Cologne?...my geography is not great and suggest this is too far. Shame as I played football in Cologne for a bit and it was a great place. Is there a likely destination on the outskirts? I'm interested in plugging myself into a new social pipeline.

Think the coach was around £25 return from Berlin, Friday there & Saturday back.. Takes 2 hours.
