Brilliant idea!

Also think that's an excellent idea.
Suspect there would be some costs associated though - stewards etc
Still a great suggestion to look into though

Perhaps that's something the SAB could raise with the club next time?

Think of the catering possibilities (IF you could get a decent pint and decent grub inside the ground).

A couple of pints of Pride watching the reserves, then a nice spot of lunch before the game...

Development squad / West Ham Youth Team

Postby HamburgHammer on Tue Jun 26, 2012 7:33 pm

So we definitely have our academy team playing in their league and maybe our development squad joining the reserve league, but the latter has not been decided yet ?

Dont get to hung up on Ressie football, its a million miles away from playing in the 1st XI
thats why you see so many clubs going off on different directions,in my opinion all ressie football does for the players
is develop them to go out on loan to Div 1 & 2 sides, where 99% of them will end up
You have to remember, hardly any managers, are prepared to risk potential in the 1st XI,there is too much @ risk
I believe there is a pre-arranged European league, that alot of our richer sides have been competing in
