I would like to see the reserves play before the 1st team at home at the BG that way everyone who buys a ticket or has a season ticket gets the choice of watching 2 games,would give the ressies the opportunity of playing in front of a decent crowd, more revenue for the club ie more beer sold in the stadium, obviously this would be weather permitting but I think most playing surfaces nowadays could handle 2 games as long as there is enough time in between to repair any damage etc before the 1st team game, think about west ham res v Chelsea res 11 am ko and west ham v Chelsea 1st team fixture 3 pm,

Think of the catering possibilities (IF you could get a decent pint and decent grub inside the ground).

A couple of pints of Pride watching the reserves, then a nice spot of lunch before the game...

So we definitely have our academy team playing in their league and maybe our development squad joining the reserve league, but the latter has not been decided yet ?

Dont get to hung up on Ressie football,its a million miles away from playing in the 1st XI
thats why you see so many clubs going off on different directions,in my opinion all ressie football does for the players
is develop them to go out on loan to Div 1 & 2 sides,where 99% of them will end up
You have to remember,hardly any managers,are prepared to risk potential in the 1st XI,there is too much @ risk
I believe there is a pre-arranged European league,that alot of our richer sides have been competing in
