I know a person in Finland who is a hammer so you are not alone.........unless your first name happens to be Jens
Jens is kinda Swedish name. Keeper in our floorball team is Jens though. He's wearing sailing shoes and a white sweater. He has blond hair and glossy white teeth. lol

Tell me, is that a size 4 or a 6 hook you are using there?

No, I honestly thought the whole England No 6 thing was bang out of order.
As I said, as both a West Ham fan and an England fan it still doesn't sit well with me but part me thinks Green got his comeuppance with the USA incident. He made it abundantly clear he wanted to be given the gloves for the national side and then when he got them, he did what he did. As the post I quoted said, he thinks he's better than he is.

He may be better than he thinks he is but still better than Henderson or if true Jussi. The Boltonisation of west ham continues at pace, the only thing that surprises me is the amount of fans who welcome it.

Don't buy into the myth.
Under Allardyce Bolton earnt European football through the league and had the likes of Okocha and Djorkaeff doing it for them. For a club of our size, a 'Boltonisation' might not be the worst thing. It's not all what Arsene Wenger says it is.

Excellent signing once complete.
Don't really care him being another Bolton player - I don't get this obsession? The bloke has come on a free - makes perfect sense to me if he still has it in him.
Important for Henderson to have an experienced and one of the better keepers (in his time) to work with.

It wernt a myth, you only had to watch west ham struggle against he likes of Bristol city, Watford, Boro etc etc at home to realise it was all true. Ask the Geordies they got him out and were no where near being relegated that season.

I've got to admire you for your tenacity - last week you were doing your stuff on a thread entitled 'Thanks sam' and now you're digging him out on a welcome thread for a new player. You're like a dog with a big Allardyce shaped bone. Welcome Jussi- be the good mentor that I expect you to be for Henderson. And thanks for saving us a few quid that we can now spend on other positions we're weaker in.

The West Ham turning into Bolton thing is b*llocks. Who cares as long as we're a solid outfit with 11 players on the pitch that would die for the cause.
Jussi is a top signing too, good backup at the least. Really surprised a top club didn't come in for him a few years ago.

The impression I am getting from the club is that, Hendrson will get a chance to be no.1 for this season, if it is thought he needs more work, then we have an experienced back up for a season (or 2 if required). Samay well look at him and think that maybe a season in the reserves would be good for him and so look to buy another experienced keeper (Robinson?), who will vie with Jussi for the current no. 1 spot. After a year or 2, Jussi will have left, we are left with a more experienced Henderson and an experienced keeper on our books who will give us some good competition for our keepers spot. I don't think it sounds a bad plan and so I can't help thinking Jussi is a good signing.

I don't understand this either, as Bogdan looked ridiculously bad at times. Either something went on behind the scenes with Coyle and Jussi or, Bolton made the mistake which, I think, we are trying to avoid, in trying to blood a young, inexperienced keeper too soon / in the wrong situation?

I'm getting a bit sick of every paper and internet site that is reporting us signing Juusi can only find pictures of him picking the ball out of the net or despairingly diving at a ball that is just out of his reach, i thought most of the journo's in the country were supposedly hammers? This picture is much better!

If he's signed, it ticks all the right boxes for me. A solid and highly experienced Prem performer alongside whom Henderson can develop.
The team needs to just dust itself down and get on without Robert Green. Its better frankly that his contract is up at the end of this month; it gives his new replacement a good 6 week period to get accustomed to his new role.
Next up, we need a new pair of full backs and one, maybe two, competitive options at CB.
Jussi's the first part of a fairly big jigsaw this summer.

Vantaalta ja Jässi on todellakin tervetullut. Great signing IMO.And get that Pohjanpalo from HJK.WHTID

How comes Jussi couldn't get in a relegated Bolton side with Bogdan, who is ****, taking his place? Was it a personal thing or because he wouldn't sign a contract? Or because time has caught up with a GK who's main attribute whenever I saw him seemed to be his agility and Owen Coyle had seen this? No idea myself.
Certainly I used to rate the bloke and wish him luck, but if it is the latter, which is a distinct possibility, I can't say I'm overchuffed. I'd certainly prefer to have Green starting for us.

I'd prefer Cech myself but I don't think he wants to play for us either.

Once very good - he's 37 now. Forgive for not getting excited. Now that Greeno has gone he's suddenly not the player he thinks he is?! Brilliant. For all the hatred of Bolton I'm also surprised by how many are happy to sign their dross.
