On the other hand this is a recent tweet from Agent WHU: "I have some very unfortunate news that I will explain later on." This could be: a) OS awarded to Leyton Orient exclusively, hence no new investor, hence no 60 million budget. b) DG revealed to be a secret Millwall supporter. c) Tomkins sold for 2 million to Tottenham, Nolan 1 million to Newcastle. d) Quashie resigning with West Ham on 5 year contract, replacing Nolan as skipper.

No he just deactivated his account....apparently too much info on investors were let out. This reminds me of when we were suppose to fire Grant and bring in O'Neil only for him to back out because of publicity.... except on a smaller scale on twitter

If DG wasn't allowed to speak of investment, he would have just ignored the question.

Could be a good sign West Ham closing down all those Twitterers with connections to the club in order not to lose the OS and new investment coming with it. Let's hope the owners can tie something up quickly, but I feel the announcement of OS and new investment may come too late for this transfer window.
So this will still be a nerve-wrecking season, we need to stay up at all costs, otherwise we may just as well forget about the OS and the Westfield money coming in...

This is also true, I'm just saying he is not going to admit to it on twatter. From what I've been told there is a potential investor in the wings, I've been told a name but obvously can't say. If UTJ needs me to confirm my source then I will happily do so.

I think people are being so unrealistic it’s unreal! The two David’s have said they are to own the club till they die, unless they sell to someone who can bring the club to the next level. i.e an oil rich multi-billionaire. Now we need to take time a think, what sane billionaire would want to invest in a club that is unproven in the premier league after just being promoted from the second tier? None! Plus no one wants to buy shares; they want the full ownership of the club. We need to get in the real world and realise were not a club steeped in history and support COMPARED to the likes of Man United, Madrid e.g.. Because they are the only clubs worth buying. Even Man City has a first division title before they won the Premier league. So the only thing that will bring west ham forward is remaining in the premier league till we move to the OS. And then it will clear the debt selling on UP and we have money to spend and attract big name and money singing's, because of our impressive capacity stadium. When that happens we are suddenly worth buying, but with the income revenue I doubt DG and DS would want to sell because they are fanatically capable.
And on another note. People need to stop with these conspiracy theories about the way the two David's are running the club. They made their trade selling nickers for a living, they’re not illuminati higher up's

Reading were bought in May by a the son of a russian multi-billionaire despite this season only being the 3rd in the top flight in their history... West Ham is an extremely attractive proposition to investors, especially if we get the olympic stadium

I agree with us being an extremely attractive proposition with the OS and our worldwide fanbase, and the fact it's London as well. The term "Sleeping Giant" comes to mind, I feel the alarm clock has rung already, the giant has just pushed the snooze button and turned to the other side in bed to rest for another ten minutes... Things will change dramatically once the bloody OS decision has been announced...

It is perfectly possible that they may be inviting in an investor on a simple promise of them all making a big, fat profit on the club by re-selling in 18-24 months.
The club was valued at £95 million (?) in January 2010, as an unsuccessful, debt riddled entity in a 35k moderate size stadium.
Come summer 2014 - a 60,000 stadium, a lot of debts eradicated and a substantial uplift in TV income later - what price then?
£200 million plus I'd guess - double your money.

No one in their right mind should have bought us when we were sold by the icelandics, but they did.

DG and DS would never sell to just a son of a Billionaire, and the Reading chairman has hardly even invested much into Reading, compared to the two David’s contribution to West Ham

Funny you should say that as when I clicked on a youtube link to last night's Bubbles in another thread, there were loads of suggested films alongside about an Illuminati plot for a major 'event' at the London Olympics, either a terrorist nuclear attack or, more bizzarely, a mocked-up alien invasion. I can just see the scenario at the Closing Ceremony - the Daves abseil down from their helicopters like Liz and James Bond. They light the new Olympic torch in the shape of a giant dildo to pass on to Rio de Janeiro's version of BoJo. They are then presented with the keys to the stadium and a cheque for $1 billion. As they wave the cheque in the air, "Bubbles" rings around the stadium. Just when it reaches its crescendo, a giant spaceship appears above the roof and a voice booms out "like we'd ever let that happen" and incinerates the stadium. Typical West Ham.

It's just some of that @agent_whu stuff. That's all it ever is. Agent_WHU @Agent_WHU West Ham United FC are in a period of Due Diligence for something very exciting for the club which will lead to something MAJOR.
Agent_WHU @Agent_WHU These things don't happen over night and the speculation that was spreading was incorrect to an extent but in the future we will know.
Agent_WHU @Agent_WHU Mr. Gold would not tell people of any investment or future plans as legal action would be taken if he did so. I've said all along that we
Agent_WHU @Agent_WHU will not know any more on this until the Olympic Games have finished. It's a matter of trust and patience.

Yeah, probably. Perhaps we should get David Icke out of retirement to play in goal. He couldn't be much worse than Jussi last night.
