Re: New Investors?Off topic somewhat but I see that Inter Milan have got some new investors......none other than China Railway Construction Group and a consortuin headed by HK-based QSL Sports who are buying a 15% stake for c£80m. I assume the Chinese have just put a sum in to give them the contract to build a 60,000 new stadium bu 2017.
The Chinese are the new Russkies for sure.
Re: New Investors? If you hate twitter, pass this post by; it will only wind you up some more.
This investor thing keeps rearing its head on twitter, two keep on about it and they have been getting stuff right about us (no its not bloody Bradley), it does make me wonder if there is actually truth behind it. As most agree, we will not hear anything until AFTER the OS is announced, which I believe is next month according to D Gold, but you would have thought that following the crazy tweets a couple of weeks ago, it would has died down, for most on twitter, it has (and surprise, surprise those quiet now are the bullsh*tting "supposed" ITK's), but two accounts I follow still go on about it. For example one today says "The future of West Ham United FC looks somewhat spectacular. As a supporter myself I can assure all supporters they will be very happy." This is the guy some think is Bradley, but I really don't think it is. The other account has been saying similar things. My take on things is that there must be some sort of agreement in place, it obviously got leaked (I think adzman's "clunge" started it, but I am possibly wrong as I was away when the sh1t fest started, but with continual links we have been getting and what is it, 8 new signings so far this window (smaller transfer fees, but wages add up fast), we certainly seem to be spending/increasing our financial liabilities, which would have to be covered and I do not believe that the Dave's are such gamblers that they would burden the club, when they have been so vocal in the past couple of years about how badly we were managed in the past and our poor financial state. Ok we get extra income in the 2013/2014 season due to the new TV deals, this wont be much use to us should we crumble and bounce straight back down come May though will it? There is more going on, and as I have not yet seen DS or DG come out and publicly denounce these rumours or the winning the OS, I will keep my fingers x that they do actually have truth behind them.
Re: New Investors?Heard this rumour tonight in the pub from a mate who apparently has a very good source! Very interesting!
