It is more goals from Hall's set pieces in one game than we scored from Noble's set pieces in half of the season. It is early days obviously, but Rob seems to be a very good prospect and has been playing very well in Birmingham so far. On the other hand side Morisson and Turgott and Pottsy struggle to get some playing time in their clubs.

Bit harsh on Potts! He's been at Colchester for 5 games and he's started 4 of them!

I hope I´m proved wrong, but I think Morrison just hasn´t got the right mentality to succeed. I´m basing this only on reports and reading between the lines of manager quotes.

We can only hope that a season in and out of a poor Championship team lets him know that a lot of work needs to be put in before he can earn a place in a Premier league squad. The fans there seem to like him, so he's doing some things right on the pitch. I must admit that, when I've seen him play he has looked good enough for their first XI.

Hall seems to be doing well at Birmingham - 5 assists in 5 starts (and 2 sub appearances) is good form.
I see we've still got Fanimo in our squad.
Is there any chance he'd
(a) get any time on the pitch for us,
or
(b) go out on loan himself?

While we're on the topic of youngsters I see from twitter that Dom Vose has been released, thought he was meant to be a real prospect! Anyone know any of the others that have been released? I think I heard Kenzer Lee was another one.

Vose released is a surprise. I'm pretty sure Man Utd were trying to poach him at one point. Isn't he the guy we poached from Fulham?

Rumours are that he has a real attitude problem. Also worth noting that he failed to get into the starting team at Braintree (4 divisions below us) last season.

Vose does not have the application to make the most of his talent. A shame but he isn't the first and wont be the last.

From the BBC:
Ravel Morrison was a regular threat for the home side while Robert Hall also troubled the Cardiff defence.
