Without more senior, and influential players, like Hall, McCallum and Turgott... as they have prolonged their loans, has Hendon and the club giving up on the Development Elite group games?

Anyone who knows how they think? Do they think Piquionne is enough to win the title? ;-S

Blair Turgott - Bradford City

A very brief substitute appearance for Blair today as Bradford lost 2-1 at Villa, but progress through to the League Cup Final on aggregate. Blair was at fault for the second Villa goal, crossing the ball into an empty penalty area rather than retaining possession and running down the clock. A long punt from Given (who collected the cross) assisted the goal. He will need his loan extended if he hopes to play at Wembley.

It would be incredibly harsh if they didn't let him play at Wembley.

Cheers for keeping this updated. Good to keep up with how the youngsters are getting on.

Interesting to note the assists Hall is getting lately, without watching him play this is suggesting that he will be more of a forward than a striker.

Anyone know what position he is being used in at Birmingham?

Wide left it seems, but I think he's being given a lot of freedom there at the moment.

Almost all of those assists are corners. He's been used mostly as a left winger when I've seen him. Personally, I thought he looked excellent on his debut, when he came on and played behind the front man, right in the middle.

I think he prefers playing through the middle, always did for the development squad, good that he's versatile though, and seems to have a cracking set piece on him too.
