Back to reality after the yesterday's cup game. I can see it being quite a fiesty affair, The West Ham Wannabee's v The Genuine article. Let's show this lot that no matter how many of our ex-players you sign, even if you do have a chairman that claims he is a hammer through and through, yet sat on his hands during our darkest hour, there will only ever be one West Ham United. Green, Anton, Dyer, Zamora, Ephriam, The Academy is gonna get ya.

Dyer or Zamora to score, but I fancy us to get a 1-1. I hope it's Carlton for us as he desperately needs confidence. I don't think we'll be seeing anyone from the Wigan game feature at the start, even Jarvis. Yossi will probably be on the bench, too.

Their back four at the moment is: Dyer---Clint Hill---Nelson----Onohua I am expecting us to score some goals if its the same back four. I think Anton Ferdinand is still out injured.

This feels like a crunch game to me.
A loss here will start to drag us into the bottom half, but a win takes us up,up and away.
The GK, Back 4 and Midfield 3 pick their selves presently. If Carroll is fit, he leads the line. If not - well, I'm not sure who I'd go for out of Cole and Maiga.
The real debate is the two wider players. Vaz, Benayoun, Jarvis, Taylor..........
I'd pick different wide players to suit different centre forwards.

Neither McCartney nor Jarvis staked a claim for a first team spot yesterday. Vaz Te didn't really either, but he's got less competition at the moment, it seems. A lot may depend on whether Taylor picked up a knock. A fit Benayoun looks like an option it may be imprudent to overlook. One thing's for sure, QPR have goals in them. Defence needs to get its 'Fulham head' on for this one.

People who played last night didn't do themselves any favours. Lineup will almost surely look like this (unless any injuries happen this week):
------------------- Jussi ------------------- Demel -- Collins -- Reid -- O'Brien ------------ Diame -- Noble ------------ Yossi --------- Nolan --------- Jarvis ------------------ Maiga ------------------
Even if Carroll is available, he won't start. Cole has missed his opportunity I think. I'd bet my month's salary this will be the starting lineup, maybe Vaz Te will be given another chance instead of Yossi.

I agree, it's a really important game. QPR are relegation rivals. If we win, it crushes their confidence further and keeps us ticking over. Gift them 3 points and their season's off to a start and draws them closer. A draw would be solid, but we can't keep drawing games. We need to convert draws to 3 points.

fjthegreys triumphant return to premier league football will herald a 0-2 victory in our favour courtesy of a Diame wonder goal and a Carlton classic, deflecting in off some innocuous part of his person.

The game I want us to win the most this year. Even more than 3 points at Anfield or White Hart Lane.

George is our LB tho and im the type who wants to see a LB if fit played at LB not a DM who can play at RB playing at LB... its a disaster waiting to happen Jarvis may of been off the boil however when he got the ball he looked dangerous and put in a few good crosses Vaz before he came off was really trying his best.. id play him. goal waiting to happen

Even though Jarvis didn't play well last night I think his cameo vs Sunderland should be enough for him to be drafted into the starting 11

Even though Jarvis didn't play well last night I think his cameo vs Sunderland should be enough for him to be drafted into the starting 11 Although I'd put McCartney in for Joey. Joey has got away with a few stupid mistakes in the last 2 games, I have a feeling it won't be 3rd time lucky for him in this game.

It may look average on paper, but Nelsen has been one of their best players so far, Clint Hill had a stormer against Tottenham, and Dyer was their man of the match. They kept Chelsea scoreless in their last home game. It's going to be tough.
