I was watching the latest simpsons episode, aired yesterday, and completely out of nowhere this came out! at first I was a bit outraged since they got the colours so completely wrong, but then i guessed it was at least cool to be named in such a well known tv show, maybe it's all part of the plan for a rebranding after moving to the OS
(story behind that, the two simpsons kids get to know a cool hipster kid next door, who happens to have these weird "I know better than you" tastes. I guess we are a hipster team, now?)
Do you know what episode this was, VH?
Lets just hope we don't see any of our players out wearing skinny jeans and thick framed glasses
latest episode, aired just yesterday season 24, episode 7
Its ****ing green! How could someone not check!
So he is a Norwich West Ham fan? Sounds pretty hipster to me
Green and gold until we're sold!! G&S out!!
Obviously a subtle reference to Green Street and David Gold. Maybe.
He's taken Fortune's Always Hiding to heart. Seems like he's looking for it on other planets!
The curtains and carpet are already claret and blue so obviously he is so cool that he doesn't want any colours clashing in the interior design of his room.
Yeah, but Marge's hair is blue.
I was going to say the same: In a world where characters are yellow and have blue hair I think we got off pretty lightly.
I watched the episode earlier today, I love how depressed and sarcastic the character seemed. Obviously been supporting the club to long.
hmmm, well I'm a West Ham fan, recently moved to Norwich, wear skinny jeans and, occasionally, reasonably thick-rimmed glasses...
have I been satirised in an episode of The Simpsons? Fame at last...
It's obviously AFC West Ham colours and Harrowinnhammer is a scriptwriter for the Simpsons.
Another famous reference. Another one is that we are the only 'real life' sports team mentioned in the harry potter series.
You can watch the episode here
We also featured - albeit briefly - in Tina Fey's '30 Rock'; Season 5 Episode 16 . . . strangely enough against our next opponents WBA . . .
