"I blame the modern day music industry, does not produce good songs to copy, all the best ones are old pop songs changed to fit football." I agree, plus the most people latch onto from a song is one line, two at the most. Best to keep it short, memorable and sweet! My son and I think there's some mileage in " he gets knocked down, but he gets up again, nothing's gonna keep him down etc "....think we may have been watching Vaz te at the Man U cup match...

Only song I cant stand is the Man U - Attack, Attack, Attack. Got to be one of the worst chants ever.
Only West Ham song i'm not a fan of is the Carlton Cole "Gold" chant, firstly it's Joe's & second it's just rubbish.
Cant believe some people on here dont like bubbles sung fast, one of my favourites along with chim chimney.

I hate that Kev Nolan song about 'running down the den and mugging the pikeys off'. Nolan is sh*t. Secondly its to the tune of 'Just Can't Get Enough', one of Celtic's main songs. [My second team is Rangers].

any clubs singing " everywhere we go, people wanna know", which makes me cringe, as does fans behind the goalie who go " ooooooooh, you're ****.....ahhh" when a goal kick is taken. Heard this at Upton Park last season and it just made them sound so, well...lower league!

There's a voice a couple of rows back from me in the STBL that sings 'violence everywhere' instead of 'i've looked everywhere' during bubbles that is particularly cringeworthy

Wow, people really are precious nowadays.
The irony of people saying other songs are cringeworthy yet call for a return to 'we're proud of you West Ham'.

No it's not lower league, it's back 25-30 years ago when football was good and SKY didn't invent football

Songs are songs, there is nothing worse than people who get offended on behalf of others.

Also singing the were winning at home how **** must you be, was embaressing.

We need more inventive chants like the Christian Dailly and Ludo ones.
Not a fan of the original but think I heard someone the other day doing (whilst performing the chicken dance):
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYY KEVIN NOLAN...Op Op Op Op ...Kevin Nolan STYLE!!!
though it was quite amusing!! Perhaps chav corner can get it going next match?!

i think im justified in all of mine tbh
the were winning at home one, 1. isn't funy 2. surely wont help the players 3. other than the avram season weve always been decent at home.
the chinese one is just racist, i can see the banter in it buts its un p-c which rightly or wrongly doesnt go down well these days
ill throw one more at ya. when 13 year old kids sing the Tottenham hotspur were coming for you one
i totally agree, the atmospheres been poor lately and the more singing the better, im a hundred percent behind the team just some of it really dont make sense
