This is the one the mancs sang for hours on end...
We fought in France, We fought in Spain we fought in the Sun and we fought in the Rain we took the Kop and Chelsea too but what we like most is kicking a blue kicking a blue kicking a blue what we like most is kicking a blue.
Took the Kop? I don't think so lads...

If you re-read what I posted, I said I respected the song - the noise it makes - not the singers. A lot of the rest of their chants are garbage. Its traditonal for us to sing Bubbles, not 'original' any more. I'd struggle to identify many original songs created by us in recent seasons, but, as I've posted before, I think (using John Lyall) West Ham originated the team colurs army song in the 80's. Telling Cambridge they're loyal whilst we celebrate promotion? Big deal.

As is their highly imaginative song about their Welsh winger...
'Bale, Bale' being the only word in the chant.
I prefer (to the tune of Bread of Heaven) Gareth Bale Gareth Bale - he was born to play for Spurs, he was born to play for Spurs. As for most hated - probably 'we pay your benefits' to any team outside London!

Constantly after they score, sums up the amount of teams trying to have more 'foreign' support and be more like ultras and supras or whatever other sh*t you want to call them. That "we love you.." chant sung by every championship club is poor as well.
As for our songs that annoy me,
Sometimes the way we can sing about how much we hate Millwall for 30 minutes even though they are not in the same league as us annoys me.
We are saying 'Y**do Y**do' when we score.

Not a fan of:
West Ham Till I die - I always associate that song with Man City and we don't need to rip off other team's songs
Stick The Blue Flag....... - ok vs Chelsea, but I hate it when it's sung against other teams
sloop John B - generic sh*t

Can't believe no one has said '1-0 to the Cockney Boys'. Makes me cringe seeing as a very little amount of fans were born within the sound of the Bow bells!

Very true, how about "1-0 to the East London/Essex Chaps"?

Drop me out mate! This has to be the most depressing thread for a while. For the most part singing at our home games is non-existent and we're advocating singing less. Have to say I think the kicking a blue chant is brilliant. It's cheeky, got a bit of an edge and a great rhythm. And if we stuck to 100% accurate chanting as some have suggested football would be a ****ing dull experience. We are West Ham's claret and blue army would become 'We are West Ham's differently dressed mildly supportive fans' etc etc

It's a joke alright. And I guarantee you most of those complaining about how **** our atmosphere is on the internet are quiet as a mouse on match day. If they even go that is.

People say Sky and all seater stadiums killed the atmosphere at games. Cobblers. It's ****ers like some of the ones posting on here that did that.

Agreed. We need more BSB1's at games. That geezer was a legend at Peterborough last year. All the old faves, my voice was destroyed for about 3 days after that, just like it used to be.

It gets right on my tits. Mind you, even if they did try and get something going they would probably be told to shut up and sit down.

I once heard some lads behind me at a home game singing, every time they saw Sam come to the edge of his technical box they would sing "Fat Sam's grand slam ,speak easy!" From that tune in Bugsy Malone and they would do a weird dance waving their hand from side to side.
Each to their own I guess.

A fair summing up. The criticism of songs on here that we've sung for years has been quite surreal.
