Hopefully he signs a new contract which is more favourable to all parties in the coming weeks
Re: Mo DiameSo do you think Sam kept him out last night to prevent him having a worldy and attract more attention? That's the only reason I can think of... If he is committed and up for it then he should have started the match.
Re: Mo DiameGreat News, Now just sign that contract to make it even better news
Re: Mo DiameWhat a surprise.
Re: Mo Diamesounds great.
word of caution...to me this just rules out the likes of QPR , Newcastle etc If Arsenal came knocking he would go
Re: Mo Diame
And so would most footballers playing in sides out the top six.
Re: Mo DiameThat's nice to read and hopefully we can tie him down to a better contract for all involved.
Re: Mo DiameGet in!
Re: Mo DiameGreat news, but, didn't the official site also publish a story that Yossi was going to sign a new contract just days before he left for Liverpool?
I do hope he stays though.
Re: Mo DiameI wouldn't get too excited until the 1st of February.
Re: Mo DiameWell that's made my day. Obviously not guaranteed, but nice to see that he is enjoying his time at the club, which has to be a big plus in keeping a player.
Honestly, I'd take that drubbing last night if it meant Arsenal backing off. (I know most of you won't agree)...
Re: Mo DiameMust be going now, that's just Like your chairmen backing the manager
Re: Mo Diame
Or it could be that the player is still making his way back after a hamstring, so playing against one of the fastest, most fluid attacking sides, in the position where you are constantly tracking, chasing and tackling, might have been a risk to his hamstring? Or maybe he felt the player (whether there is anything in the story or not) might have been slightly distracted by all the paper talk I'm not saying either is the case, just other possible scenarios
Re: Mo Diame
Exactly right. Knee Jerk reactions are never the way to approach these sort of things
Re: Mo Diame
this
Re: Mo DiameGreat bit of news! And feels even better to all those people slagging him off, rumours are rumours, facts are facts! BOOOOOOM
Re: Mo DiameI beleive nothing until he scores, kisses the badge, throws up the crossed hammers and makes his piss in front of the TBL
Re: Mo DiameStill think he will be gone if an offer comes in. It's all well and good saying you want to stay, but you have no other options if theres been no bids yet. If he really wants to stay i would think he will sign a new contract soon.
Re: Mo DiameHasn't Harry spoken about signing him, though?
Re: Mo Diame
Redknackers has spoken about signing everyone - he even lists the Barnstonworth players from Ripping Yarns as players he likes....
