Funny how people see it different.

I thought Nolan had a good first half - a couple of good defensive headers, some interceptions and passed the ball first time sensibly and calmly, whereas everybody else wanted one touch too many and kept giving the ball away.

Collison did well and O'Brien, but we played ok as a team. I was certainly satisfied as we went in at half time.

I still don't believe what I saw in the first ten minutes of the second half.

To be honest I thought Giroud had the better of Reid all game, and the second goal showed it up, after that well we just defended like kids and the whole thing disintegrated.

I'll go with O,Brien because I actually saw him running in the second half after the goals went in.

JOB played well, but most of his stand out moments were last ditch 'all or nothing' clearances.

My vote goes to Diarra, who made some good tackles and then tried to get play moving with good runs and passes.

Almost as if he wanted to impress someone

I thought Reid, usually the rock at the heart of our defence, was the weakest of our back 4 last night. Hard to critisise him, given he's done so well all season. Maybe it's because he's been so immense that it stood out that he wasn't having his best game?

Thought Tomkins did OK. Collison did all that was asked of him, and it was good to see him get his first goal of the season. Diarra looked very good when he came on, but the game was over by that point.

I'd have to say JOB for MOTM. He was defending like a man possessed at times last night, and but for him it could have been a lot worse

Vote's for our defence? Tee hee hee. Reid was crap, so was O'Brien. He tries and does a half decent job defensively but he is one of worst players in terms of relinquishing possession cheaply, so many nothingy, aimless balls pumped down the line to nobody. I hate him as our left back to be honest, really hope we sign someone.

Diarra was the only player who deserves any credibility from the game last night, I'd be inclined to play him CB in our next game in fact.
