Now, Felipe's on the ball.
He won't go away.
It's Anderson.
Running through your formation.

Now, Felipe's on the ball.
It's Anderson,
It's Anderson,
It's Anderson.

With the suitable duh-duh-duh-duh's following on.

I couldn't find this thread on Saturday in my slightly drunken state so started a new thread.... Adding it in here!!!!

After today's match the obvious choice is

Rice Rice baby by vanilla rice

And then one that's been brewing for a while.......

Need to phonetically place this as it's hard to fit in.. simple rule is to ignore the An in Andy but I'm gonna put the original lyrics in as a benchmark....

Sweeeeeeet Caroline doo doo doo
(An)dyyyyyy Carol I. Love your goals

Good times never felt so good
So good
So good
So good

Etc...

Surely it should be...

Riccccccce.... Declan Riccccccceeeeeeee...
Stretching out... blocking them, blocking youuuuuuuuu...

Sweet Declan Rice...!
Oh Oh Oh
Good times never seemed so good
So Good So Good So Good
I'd be inclined
Oh Oh Oh
To believe they never would

Some things you don't need to mess with things too much... although we could go with...

Riccccccce.... Declan Riccccccceeeeeeee...
Stretching out... blocking them, blocking youuuuuuuuu...

Sweet Declan Rice...!
Oh Oh Oh
That goal against Arsenal was so good
So Good So Good So Good
I'm filling up
Oh Oh Oh
Can't wait to see you lift a cup...

You're right it has been brewing for a while - since the very first post of this thread 5½ years ago..

If you check out the full lyrics to the Small Faces classic "Here Comes The Nice" - it's literally a perfect description of him!
Just gotta change the title to "Here's Declan Rice" and the job's almost done. Given that Steve Marriot, RIP, was a massive West Ham fan it's like he wrote it for him from beyond the grave..

Lovin this... I can't believe we missed it!!! spent most of Saturday afternoon in CA trying to fit Carroll into Sweet Caroline and bemoaning a lack of song for Rice!!!! Genius..... Also any Andy Carroll song doesn't get much chance to be sung with all the injuries. Sweet Declan Rice will get an airing every game!!!

A song that we used to sing for the great Billy Bonds should be revived for Declan:

6foot 2 eyes of blue
Declan Rice is after you
La la la la
La la la
la la

I'd be surprised if we ever hear it again now (sung by West Ham fans, at least).

Ohh Bobby Snodgrass
When will we see, your like again,
That fought and played for
The claret and blue army.

And stood against them,
Spurs and Chelsea,
And sent them homeward,
To think again.

Think it's obvious, but tune of Flower of Scotland.
