About 3 beans and 16 pints, judging by the state of him there.TeddyThePug wrote:Was he doing community service when that picture was taken?

Players now have a groin injury for months and months and I often think they don't really give a toss whether they're playing or not because they're getting paid anyway."

Had Gareth taken him to Russia England would be lifting the world cup on Sunday.
A real game changer.

A fit and in form Jack Wilshere might have helped...can’t see what Andy Carroll would’ve done.

May 2013 after the last game against reading a packed boleyn stood & applauded the team with a non stop rendition of Andy Carroll - we want you to stay. When he was signed for six years it was considered a coup. So im assuming you think the entire fanbase. are idiots and should be put down. Go look in the mirror.warp wrote:we had him one season on loan, got injured three times in that period, had a history of injuries with both the geordies and the scousers, was injured when we actually bought him.
we shouldn't put him down, we should put down the ****ing idiot who thought a six years contract was a good idea.
A lot of very selective memories on here.

West Ham United have signed a current England international striker
Think about it
Re: Andy Carroll
Just pay him off. He is a bad influence to have around the club. Everyone knows about his off field antics, what sort of example does that set to the youngsters. At best he will get loaned out in January. Lets just cut now and send a message to the squad that you look after yourself or you are out.

Our owners have plenty of experience with selling people in the adult entertainment industry... I'm sure they know a trick or two they could have used if they've thought he was surplus to requirements.

Re: Andy Carroll
He had half a season at Newcastle. England striker was about the only positive thing to say, the "think about it"-bit was pretentious though. Hopefully drunk

Re: Andy Carroll
From 2016, JBB. That said, it could be from anytime in his stint at West Ham. Same ****, same month, different year.
Let's just get through this final season. He may still grab 1-5 goals in the odd substitute appearance that could earn us an extra 5-15 points. Then ta-rah! Thanks but no thanks, you unprofessional has-been.

Re: Andy Carroll
It occurs to me (although this might be a foolish flight of fancy) if we are interested in signing Lascelles (and who wouldn't be?) might we not offer Newcastle, Carroll plus cash? Yes he's injured and wouldn't be fit to play for them for three months or more, but there would be no fee involved and we would undertake to pay his wages up until the date his contract with us is due to expire.
After that the Barcodes should know whether they want to offer him a paid contract or accept it was a gamble that didn't pay off, and let him go in the knowledge that they didn't actually lose any money on him, they just accepted an offer for Lascelles whereas they would otherwise have told WHU to do one?
Just a thought.
Edit: Of course we'd still need to pay them a significant sum £20+ in case anyone thinks I'm talking a slight top-up.

Re: Andy Carroll
As a couple of us said at the time that was very embarrassing. No one else wanted him so regardless of whether people wanted him or not (I didnt) why SIX years?ictrucker wrote:
