Can we recall Jaanai Gordon? I say give Lee some minutes off bench. If he's making the bench at all he must have something. In the past Allardyce has just named 6 subs so why wouldnt he do the same unless he thinks Lee can do a job?

I'm not overly surprised or concerned with this situation. Carrolls not a solid professional and as far as I'm aware spends far too much time on the piss when he should be training and resting. I'd much rather see Sakho and Valencia up front with the odd appearance from Carlton when they need a rest. Pity we didn't get Adebayor or Slimani or A. N. Other last transfer window.

he was hobbling round the centre spot for the last fifteen. he was so broken he didn't even want to mix it up in our own box.

Someone tweet Gullivan about Cassano. Could be very useful.

It was clear that he was badly crocked almost as soon as it happened.

The whacky subs the other night are not our coaching teams finest hour. Time to play Blind alley up front where he belongs and give him a run there with Sakho and Cole. **** or bust.

Just wish we could sell him.

A monumental waste of money, and will continue to be. Will never stay fit for a whole season.

those who think we'll now play like at the beginning of the season might be in for bitter disappointment.

how many as a winger?

They should have pulled him off. Maybe Andy felt that he needed to stay on for the team. They still should have pulled him off.

No difference between the average number of goals scored with or without AC, and nominal difference between average points accrued per game.

Interesting.

since when has that mattered,

Leadership , Morale, Spirit , teamwork and sucess on the pitch are overrated.

as long as he has his youtube account is packed with overhead kicks and long range shots he will be fetted as a hero

On the flip side, the poor guy must be pretty fed up himself at getting injured again.

It doesn't help us, but you've got to feel sorry for him.

I really feel for him. The guys luck is up there with Keiran Dyers!

We'll miss him (especially when defending at corners :D ) but we have enough to cope. Let's hope Enner can start chipping in with a few goals.
