We coped ok without him last season during the period he was out and we have got more backup this year, so although slightly irritated, not overly worried.

We coped ok without him??? I'm not saying it was him specifically we missed but we need another central striker or we'll struggle again massively.

He's given it back to some clowns on twitter! The dynamics of football player and fan relationship is so strange in this social media world

waste of money.........I dont think theres much between him and Carlton Cole if Im honest, and the fact hes always injured just compounds the issue

Hes nowhere near the same calibre as a pre-injury Dean Ashton thats for sure, even a 40 year old Teddy Sheringham put in better displays IMO

Id sell ( if anyone would buy )

That just about sums up his intelligence, once tweeted it is in the public domain forever, someone will have screen captured it, sports people, celebrities or actors etc should never get involved in fighting back on social media, they should rise above it,

We have great fans, best in the World apparently....

In all seriousness what kind of c*nt does that? The same kind of c*nt that hags bedsheets from Sullivan's front gate I suppose.

Carroll has answered the abusers well and done it without sinking to the their level.

Plenty of people post abuse on twitter and internet forums. Makes no difference if it is aimed at a player or someone else. It is the posting of such comments whilst hiding behind a keyboard that is the issue and where the problem lies, not who the recipient is.

A few on here need to remember that.

If someone abuses a footballer on a social network I think they have every right to call them out... Risky ground for them but no problem if they handle it well.

I wonder if Luke Shaw will get the abuse from Chelmsford Reds that AC got for not being fit enough.

How much muscle does Carroll carry on his upper body? I'm wondering if he carries too much and his lower leg area goes through a lot of stress in training/games because of it. Even a few pounds can make a significant difference.

Perhaps it might do his longer term career a world of good to become skinnier. Hasn't really hurt Peter Crouch.

it's quite obvious he skips leg day in the gym, and just does a normal bro split like all the other bros in the gym.

Unlikely, he's hardly muscle bound. If here was 16 stone I'd wonder but he's barely 13. He's a streak of p*ss.

I'd be looking toward his balance, which if you've ever paid attention to when he tries to shift the ball between his feet, is awkward at best.

I thought he injured his right ankle this time last year.
So has he now damaged his left ankle pretty much in the same way as he did his right in 2013.
Can anybody clear this up for me?
Sorry for not keeping up but it is difficult with all the various damage that has been done to his lower limbs!
