The worrying thing about those four is how much they must be earning between them. When you add Arnie to the equation, our strikeforce must cost around £400k a week for what is ultimately one position.hammerman11 wrote:forget him he does not fit into how we play now.
we do have problems in the striking area as apart from arnie we have a lot of disappointing players
Hernandez - injured most of the time now, cant play on his own up front. 30 and on big wages. sell 10m ?
perez - done nothing during limited time on the pitch. looks useless last minute signing. sell 5m
carroll - always injured carthorse. out of contract in the summer19. sell jan 5m
Antonio - too bulked up, knackered after 15 mins, useless in front of goal, poor touch, lacks effort. sell 10m
silva - 20 signed in summer 18. good start to u23. now injured. not played in premier league.
Martinez - on loan. slow and looks lost above u23 level. sell 3m
so we need a striker or two if we sell the dross we have .
He'll play his obligatory 4 games in Nov/Dec before getting a suspension mid-Dec, and injuring himself just in time to enjoy a quiet Christmas & New Year at home with his family. He'll play another 4 games in February/March, and that will be the last we see of him.MadMart wrote:Any news on when he is due back????
I’ve not heard anything to suggest he’ll be back in the next couple of weeks or even month?Georgee Paris wrote:If Arnie goes off after 75 mins having played a blinder there’s not many strikers we have I’d rather bring on against spurs. Hope he is fit again
I think it was a number of months but nothing specific, add to that he always seems to take longer than expected.kenthammer1984 wrote:was there any sort of time frame given when they thought he might be back?
Me neither but I'd rather see him coming off the bench than Chico or Perez or Antonio... the only exception perhaps would be that young ladstu1 wrote:

That would suggest maybe the Spurs cup game..."Working in the gym and on the pitch. We hope he will recover as quickly as he can, but he will need a couple more weeks."
I thought Reids injury was against Swansea and it was a nine month injury.sutts07 wrote:Him and Reid were both reportedly out for three months at the time of them getting injured on a pre season trip.
Initially yes, with a setback occurring on a pre-season tour.mushy wrote: I thought Reids injury was against Swansea and it was a nine month injury.
