I wonder if Carroll is bothered,

I meant getting subbed at half time v the team Bottom of League 1 because you are struggling against them

Plus being replaced by someone else that is pony too

Where next for Carroll non league, maybe Orient for the easy commute

Interesting question that. I often wonder just how bad much players feel after a defeat like that. I know most if them probably don't give a toss, but there must be some who do feel like us.

I reckon he'll pack it all in, once his contract expires here.

At least in previous years, when Carroll came back from injury, he would offer us something before getting injured again. Usually offering goals, assists or at least a threat.

He offers nothing now. I can't remember him offering anything over the past 18-24 months, other then a goal against Southampton. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

For me, he's fallen very much into the terrority of the likes of Illunga, Diame, Kouyate, Sakho, Nolan. Brilliant for the club for a period of time, but then woeful for an equal amount of time. The guy is finished.

Think he scored a couple of crucial late goals to help us stay up last year. Stoke maybe.

That first half the other night was like watching a once thoroughbred race horse being dragged out of retirement for one last run round the track. It was just sad watching him struggle. How much of that was simply a lack of giving a **** rather than injuries taking their toll I don’t know but sad all the same.

Pointless giving him any further minutes now I’d say unless we are really desperate, unless he fancies a new career at centre back.

That volley to pinch a point. And two against WBA to win it.

I got Stoke mixed up with Southampton, but fair point. 4 extra points earned.
