Yep...even when he is fit he won't walk straight back into the team as he would have previously

A great impact sub when around or gives us the option to play 2 up top...but if Hernandez hits the ground running he'll be seen as a bonus and not the saviour
Exactly. Hopefully helps us and him. He is a game changer when he is 100% and having him as an option in the squad is worth the dosh.

I don't look forward to seeing him again.
When he plays we forget to play football and hoof it up to him.

One of the coaching staff (Slaven? Nikola?) said that we'll now need to adapt our tactics with the arrival of Hernandez. Less long balls towards Carroll and hoping for the best. I reckon more through balls with Hernandez running in behind the defence. Carroll cannot be anything more than an impact sub, rushing in for a late header when everyone's knackered.

i'm ecstatic we're going into next season without a giant immobile lump up top as our plan A.

fine as a plan B when he's in the narrow window between falling off bar stools, but it should never have been what we aspire to.

Shame Andy Carroll is always injured as he is decent, but we need him out. He cannot handle the game physically and we are wasting so much money on him.

He will be like a new signing when he comes back in November, just when we need him.

I look forward to him coming back fit, rested and ready to go!

It's criminal how much damage he has done to our club since he has been here, he's supposedly a professional athlete but time and time again photos and videos appear on social media of him rolling out of a nightclub at 5 in the morning when he is only a few weeks away from being back, then it's another setback and another couple of months out, meanwhile we have to play games with no striker because our wage budget is being wasted on his party lifestyle,
Just imagine how we would have done in the last few seasons if we actually had a player up front who looks after himself physically and behaves like a professional athlete should, instead of p1ssing our wage budget up the wall,
Carroll and Sakho should be sacked and their wages used on someone who actually has a professional attitude

Tristan Shout spot-on. Nothing more to be said. Come on Dave's pay him and Sakho off and see if anyone else will take them on. Plenty of vacancies here at Luton for more ex-Hammers!!!

I doubt if Newcastle would accept that much, we would probably have to give them 10. :D

As long as we don't rely on him and he knows his injuries have put him back to a second choice striker and what I would of only brought him for in the first place....Impact sub.
Can't believe it has took the club 2 -3 years to realise.

I long for the day when this bloke leaves the club. Why was he even given a long contract on such high wages when his injury record was not good even before he joined us permanently? I hate the way we play anyway even when he is fit. Long hopeful punts up to a big lump of a centre forward is not something I want to see ever again.

They should just fine him 2 weeks wages, that probably get him to focus. He's going to want to go to the World Cup next year, is he so silly he would jeopardise any faint hope of that happening ?
