Exhibit 1 - the last few moments v Palace...?

2 minutes later as previously suggested? Not that it came close to leading to a goal in any case.

Shame it didn't mean the same against Everton, Watford and numerous other games this season.

CNR - my point, slightly tongue in cheek, was that a misplaced pass at one end of the pitch can easily lead to conceding, despite the fact that there was "plenty of time... to make a challenge" and so cost us dearly, and maybe lose a manager his job too. I wasn't having a pop at Mark.

In the same fixture, last season, Noble got blamed for Snodgrass tw@tting the ball into Fehgoulis shins, which then led to a Chelsea goal. Imagine yesterday with Snodgrass and the gangly Algerian. Noble didn't just get blamed though, oh no, god knows how but it became quite a big thing in the sports media, absolutely bizarre when you think about it.

The thing is, Noble is capable of influencing games like he did yesterday. The difficult thing is between 2014-2016 he was more consistent in doing so. If Moyes knows how to bring the best out of him, that is a win all round, especially as Noble can influence games, can tuck a penalty away, and is a long term, well respected figure at the club.

He suits a manager like Moyes or Sam where a team is more drilled and pulling together
I agree - he looked back to his old self tonight , chesting that ball onto Arnautovic then finding him with a 40 yard pass to feet - he had a licence to roam instead of playing that dm role , he looked rejuvenated .

That pass at the end though.

If Wilshere had done that Neville and co would've spunked their grots.

The feinted pass to Hernandez was superb .

I didn't start watching the match until gone 10pm so I've only just seen it .

We'll miss him when he's gone and we won't get anything like him back when he's gone. The last little bit of West Ham on the pitch we have left. God bless him. Terrific tonight, as on Saturday.

It's funny how our upturn in fortune has coincided with Noble replacing Kouyate! Top professional and loves the club (club, not owners) :scarfer:

Played ok, but if we had a better player we would have been playing better. Is a average player, and a good player on his day which is roughly 20% of games played. Done well last couple of games though.

True. Works though don’t it? Especially with them three up top.

To be fair Noble is one of those in particular that looks noticeably fitter of late. He’s done back to back 90 minutes against Chelsea and Arsenal in the space of 5 days and run further than anyone.

He was gettIng hooked on 60 minutes regularly under Bilic.

I thought his time was up but if he keeps playing like he has the last couple of games he's one of the first names on the team sheet, motm v Arsenal, sorry I doubted you Captain.

I’m another to put his hand up and say I was wrong.

Very happy to admit it as well. Been superb the last two games, keep it up
