I think Ben Arfa would be a luxury player in Sam's eyes. He won't get much game time which is no good for either parties. He won't like sitting on the bench being an impact sort of player. He would probably enjoy London though. I used to like him as a player very much and rated him highly.

I think we should buy a keeper. Does nobody else agree? A top keeper will earn us at least 6-9 points alone I reckon.

Lee Clayton @LeeClayton_
QPR were offered Petr Cech on loan to keep him in London and out of the hands of a title rival.

As much as everyone loves Adrians passion. We should be all over Cech i think. Still an excellent keeper.

Loan swap: Adrian out and Cech in. Wages paid by donor club. In my dreams.

Diame to Hull

Just have a vision that he'll miss the deadline.

Dave'll do a deal with Rodney, to drive him up in his Reliant Robin.

We should be all over Cech wanting to stay in London however I doubt we'll use our last domestic loan for a Goalkeeper over a Defender. If we did that we'd have to buy a Defender which I don't see us (G&S) doing. Suprised we're not linked to be honest - its only really us that fits in the 'Not a rival and in London' catagory. Sp*rs & Le Arse will be seen as a rivals, QPR not interested and Palace won't pay his wages.

Cech is still one of the best keepers in the world. I wouldn't have thought he'd be an option but if he's available we should find a way to get him in for the season - if we're going to struggle for goals then we could do worse than shoring up the other end instead

Hull would be perfect for Diame.

Look at the map. It's a long way down a blind alley, and when you get there nothing really happens.

Only joking Mo, thanks for that goal against Arsenal right in front of me.

If we signed Cech we could afford to buy a cheap defender or make do with collins, tomkins and reid with kouyate stepping in if needed. i don't think a fourth centre half is that important.

I hate deadline day

It makes me laugh how business always comes down to it. These clubs play into the hands of Sky who make it a soap opera and feed some **** stories to keep it ticking over. We have done well to get our business done but if we needed a defender why wasn't it sorted prior to deadline day? You just run a risk of coming up short as we have done before on many occasions and end up signing some pub player outside of the window.

No doubt Arsenal will come in with an eleventh hour bid for Winston Reid to royally f*** us over....scrap the window, its complete b*llocks. The big clubs operate outside of it and tap up whoever they like anyway.

No doubt Redknapp will sign Tottenham Hotspur four years back, Stoke will have some creatures crawling out their hole to get one tele waiting for some prick like Kevin Muscaat to sign, Arsenal will have twats starting work at 1am as they don't seem to care about transfer deadlines and we will sign George McCartney next week.

that's where kouyate comes in, he played their for anderlecht and is a far better option than alou diarra.

can't see our luck being as bad as it was last year when it comes to losing centre halves. touch wood

Good on Saturday when he played through the middle was he?

Which Southampton goal that he played a part in failing to track his player was your favourite? Their second or their third?
